I had my covid booster and flu shot on the same day last autumn and had no reactions. Hopefully I can have the two shots on the same day this year - just for the convenience.
I know some places insist on giving the jabs in different arms if they are done at the same time, so might be worth checking - I invariably find a jab of any kind makes my arm sore and swollen, so I'm not sure I'd want both arms out of action at once!
I chose to have mine separate as I usually have a mild reaction to the flu jab which leaves me with a very sore achy arm and I’ve had a similar reaction to the covid one
Personally, absolutely fine. Looking forward to my next covid booster/flu vaccinations in October. I have moderate asthma with a propensityto lung infections, Small Airways Disease and CFC (amongst other dreary age related issues 🙄). P
I space mine out to give my body time to adjust to and incorporate each one. I have a number of medical conditions and have to be careful to not overload my immune system. Add to that my first shingles vax and a new pneumonia vax, and I'm really getting to know my pharmacist (he's good - it never hurts).
The first year I got the Covid vaccine, I got it 2 weeks after my flu shot. Last year, I got them together. The first go round, I felt bad after my Covid shots, #2 worse than #1. #3 was a mild headache. Same with #4. #4 I got WITH my flu shot. No major problems.
had mine same time last year and the flu jab played me up more that the Pfizer one did, mostly not being able to use my arm for a few weeks, but my asthma was ok x
