Hello everyone, I will be going into hospital on 2nd August for a
hip
replacement
op and am not sure about my steroid dose before I go in. They have asked me to be there at 12.30. I am currently alternating between 6 and 6 and a half mgs per day.

I am scheduled for
hip
replacement
in October. I had my other
hip
replaced before being diagnosed with CLL and did great! My oncologist has cleared me for the surgery but I am Just a little more concerned about recovery with CLL. I will be coming off Ibrutinib for about 2 weeks.

NEW HIP AND ANTI INFLAMMATORY
hello All I just had a new
hip
replacement
on Friday. All went well. I know I am not supposed to take anti inflammatory with my prednisone. Can I just stop taking the anti inflammatory ? This is my second

but I wasn’t on pred last year.

Update Good morning friends, just an update my surgery is scheduled for early June. I will be having it in the hospital where I receive my MPN care. I am very relieved they will be able to do it. I will post more about the process and experience. I have learned a lot!

post hip op
has anyone had a
hip
replacement
and been far worse afterwards. Sooo depressed. Not sleeping. In constant pain. 50 times worse. Original pain but with many more in different areas. I’m sure the physio did me some harm. Anyone else had this.

ET and Successful Hip Replacement
Hello friends, I posted some months ago about needing
hip
replacement
for arthritis, and I appreciate the many replies I received. I am 5 weeks out from my surgery and doing great. I was able to have the surgery where I see my MPN specialist.

Fybromialgia and hip replacement experience
He said we can do another set of corticosteroids injections , and when I see him in December, we will discuss
hip
replacement
. He already told me with fybro is more complicated - aftercare and I quote ' you never be normal ' . I read some people have 6 months recovery and pain is there.
