Slightly complicated query
I have recovered well from the
hip

but now wondering if I was artificially buoyed up by extra pred.

Post surgical exacerbation of RLS
I am almost 3 weeks post op after total
hip
replacement
. I had asked about pain relief. Anyway, the pain has lessened although it was excruciating for 2 + weeks. My question is what can I do about the increase in my RLS? Since the surgery the RLS has become much worse.

Hip replacement date
Hello All, It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here, I finally got into sheltered housing last April & got a lovely little bungalow I’m over the moon with. It was in very good content with decent carpets curtains, and blinds left & got a decorating/other grant from the council that I wasn’t expecting

nhs weight loss app .
hi all , went to see a hip Specialist yesterday and he has advised me to lose weight before I have a
hip
replacement
in October . I’m 56 , 6 ft 1” and obese . Typical middle aged spread . He says it’s important for me to be thinner in 12 weeks so I downloaded the nhs app .

Post surgery pain
I had
hip
replacement
one week ago. The pain is excruciating. I conferred with my surgeon prior to the surgery because I was afraid of this. He told me not to worry. Ha! I am taking Oxycodone every 6 hours with absolutely no pain relief.

med side effects to hips
I took the conservative route before
hip
replacement
but can no longer walk without a cane or walker which makes travel a great challenge due to other painful side effects such as aescites which is drained weekly. I’m 4 years in from diagnosis which I count as 4 years of living gained.

RLS and surgery
I am scheduled for
hip
replacement
surgery in the near future. Recently I have seen several posts stating that any surgery will cause increased RLS . Honestly, I am now very concerned and anxious about this. Because I take Belbuca, I will not be able to use opioids post-op.

Two years post mini maze (surgical ablation).
I’ve added a second lot of titanium to my collection - adding a
hip
replacement
a couple of months ago to the titanium atriclip I have to occlude my left appendage. By the time I have my second hip done later this year I’ll be a bionic woman or an airport security nightmare!!

Hip Replacement while on treatment??
He stated that a
hip
replacement
was the next line of treatment, but he doubted it would be approved while he was on treatment for this. We see his team at MDA for a monthly check on Tuesday and we will ask if the
hip
replacement
is an option and when.
