Is the shingles vaccine suitable for people diagnosed with sle
I have a case of shingle and was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience if the shingles vaccine is suitable for people that have sle. I had inquired months ago about the vaccine with my GP and Rhuematologist but was advised by both it was not suitable for me to have, well now I’ve got shingles

Neuroprotective effect of rapamycin against Parkinson's disease in mice - 2018 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30693687/
Conclusions: Rapamycin inhibits the activation of mTOR pathway, which contributes to protect against the loss of dopaminergic neurons and provide behavioral improvements in mice with Parkinson's disease. These results are partially related to the ability of rapamycin in inducing autophagy and reducing

Thank you
Thanks so much to all who replied to my plea for advice /opinions on whether to have flu and covid booster jabs at the same time. I am on my way to have the booster jab only and my flu jab will wait a while longer, I'm much less anxious now and no flare-up of afib. Thank you all! Tom

I'm Eighty years old and not as confident as I used to be. Thanks in advance

I am a 79 year old retired nurse anesthetist. Asthma really didn’t happen until I was 59. I just thought it was “getting winded” From scoliosis chest restriction. After corrective scoliosis revision surgery (age 60) I was told by the anesthesia team that” you have a bronchospastic component.” I never
