Momma loves bologna! I took her out today to get her flu shot …. And we started laughing at our love for bologna 🤣🤣🤣 I know this is random and silly … but today she is alert and the sun is shining and I want her to feel as normal as possible!
Picture of course is deceiving … I placed that piece of bologna in her hand, she ate it … but, I had to act silly and a smile erupted into a laugh!!!!!!
She is now exhausted and we return home for her to sleep again … moments.

I hope you are well! Today was a beautiful fall day, 50 degrees and sunshine -- So, I decided to take her for a ride, and ruined it by getting a flu shot -- 
Spent another hour riding through the metorparks, picked up a strawberry milkshake and headed home for a cozy nap with me lying next to her rubbing her back. I am cherishing each day --- as I will as long as I can. ((hugs my friend))
Know you will do your utmost to the last! XXXXI am OK. Halfway through treatment now. Another 15 weeks to go!!
Not a lot of energy, but hanging on. Sun is shining here and my epiphyllums are flowering. Am getting in a lot of binge watching and reading!! And lots of phone calls!!

It’s a lunch meat / deli - we grew up eating it as kids. Not the best option by far, but the nostalgia…. 😄
I totally understand the joy of bologna. My husband loves fried bologna sandwiches and I make them for him, because he enjoys them! Enjoy all moments to the fullest! The drives sound lovely.
Massive smile here! We had fried Bologna yesterday on fresh Italian bread with a really good tomato and Mayonnaise …. her favorite! She smiles when I bring it to her —- the little things right?? As for the drives — they are a highlight for us. We have a favorite playlist, and we drive down memory lane most of the time — I take her to favorite spots she shared with my Dad. We always end up stopping by the family cemetery and take my Dad some flowers at the gravesite. We always end the ride with a small strawberry milkshake!! One day at a time making memories the best we can?
Not every day is good, but there is good in every day. And that smile... it will be my good, for today, regardless of how it turns out. Thank you Momma, and thank you Kim.

Enjoy those rides! Our last joy ride was a color tour in 2019. I can’t get my husband in the car safely, even with help. We are now using a wheelchair transport when he needs to do a face to face visit. We used the wheelchair transport to take him for his COVID Booster last week.
I completely understand- the days are limited for sure, so I continue to take her for rides as long as I can. Blessings to you!

Yes I am well thanks Kim. Getting my Covid booster jab this week. Never thought I would look forward to getting an injection but I am this time 😂😂
