Hi i have suffered with fibro and constant headaches for over 20yrs.also arthritis in my hip snd groin so cant walk very far.

Recently i went on holiday to spain , lovely weather and i have never felt so well, bot one headache no aches and pains no brain fog. Felt like a completely different person.

Came home and within 3 days i have headaches pains tiredness feel awful.

My question ... is there anything

i can take which is like the sun to help me.

I take vitamin D magnesium vitamin b.

Pregabalin,

Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

I have been on the sick for 3 yrs as cannot work as in bed for days sometimes with migrains and feeling unwell.

I tried to claim pip but was denied.

Feeling very low especially after feeling so well on hoilday.

Many thanks

Hi, like you I suffered with headaches for 30 years so bad I couldn't hold hy head up. When I moved my new doctor sent me to the pain clinic I go every year and have steroid injections in my neck , seven years now and no headaches.Hope this helps as I went for years taking pills that didn't work.

I wondered if they might think it was pressure related bc thats associated with warm weather. I've had migraines for over 25 years and never had a lumbar puncture! But then again I moved a lot as a child living in hot and cold countries and my migraine persisted regardless. You must be anxious waiting so long I hope you get some answers.

I have fibro, migraines, arthritis etc and cannot work but I claim PIP and it makes a big difference. Can you possibly reclaim or appeal. There is help to answer the questions online as it's not always clear what answers they are looking for. I usually feel better when on holiday because I leave the stress at home but I then do too much and suffer for it when I get home.

Hope you feel better soon and get the support you need from your doctor.

Thank you for your reply , im going yo ask my doctor for a letter and try reaplying, and have letters from my nurologist.I cant cope with constant tests and nothing coming back with answers and meds dont work.

If you dont mind me asking how did you get pip? Is it about what you can do day to day more than how you feel.

Regards Tina

Hi Teaner

cannot help with the sunshine but as for not getting pip you need to apply for it again and get help from support groups in your area that will help you fill out the form and help with assesments. go on site called benefits and work for extra help good luck. I have just tried acupunture so I will see how it goes. Good luck with getting pip kat Just to say when I was in my teens some 45 years ago I sffered terrible migraines for days I had 6 treatments of acupunture and I have never had one since and I am 62 now it worked for me.
