thyroid, fibroids and gluten
I'm sure there is a connection with thyroid and fibroids as I feel very sluggish with bloated stomach, recently I went on a
gluten
free
diet
now just a few weeks and I must say I feel a lot better, so hopefully this will work

Hi, A few weeks ago i graduated from C25K and then started a 5-10K app. Im a 58 year old male who has battled with my weight since a child, i am a binge eater. Many years ago i tried running and ended up with a swollen very painfull lump in my achilles (too much too quick). Anyway years later i thought

Extreme lethargy/fatigue on low carb?
Does this happen? I've been doing LCHF for about 3 weeks now. I did have a little blip about 2 weeks in (loads of lentils and rice) but I got back on track. The last few days/week or so I have been feeling extremely lethargic and fatigued, I can hardly lift my arms or legs. It feels like walking through

Runniversary - what a difference a year makes!
Yesterday was the anniversary of my starting c25k. So what's happened during that year? Well Runkeeper tells me that I've completed 151 runs, totalling 1290 km. I graduated c25k on 25 July and after consolidation, started to work towards 10k, which I achieved in October. I've done 31 parkruns and volunteered

Low carb diet
Heading off next week (yes I know I have only been back from New Zealand three weeks) for a trip to the Bavarian Alps on the Harley with a mate of mine. Thought I would strip off a few of the New Zealand lbs and make space for a few bratwurst and small beers. So I have been doing low carb for the past

Low-carb diet and AF
There was a recent posting about research that indicated an increased risk of AF with low-carb diets. The research apparently had some flaws that several posters noted. Here's an anecdote about my own experience... I have basically been on draconian low-carb for 10 years or so. That is the same time

Soy yogurt
Hi. Over the last three weeks, I've started eating lots of Asda Soy and coconut yogurt. (9 per cent soy). It tastes delicious and has no carbs, unlike dairy. It's a great low carb addition to my diet. I am hypo, taking levo, and feeling very well. Will eating lots of this yogurt affect me??

Ovary removal and more....
Morning everyone Just after advice. Just over 3 weeks ago I had a lap to remove both ovarie and tubes. They also removed nodules from belly button and pouch of douglas and separated organs that were attached because of endo. I was told by nurse that as it was a lap it would only take 2 weeks to get

UK Supply of Linaclotide / Constella
(Sorry tmi) I follow a
gluten
-
free
, low lactose/fodmap
diet
. That has improved the pain associated with IBS. I still have horrific gas which Constella helps eliminate from my body. So of anyone has any tips on that it would would be great.

Sensor Update: DEXCOM
Well, the sensor for last week lasted for the entire 7 days-- with a few hiccups here and there. Not really too much to worry about since this morning, I got worken up by the alarm going off (I was dropping around 6 am). I had a small snack and then got ready for the day after going to get some breakfast

Ensenada Chicken Platter
This is a fantastic low carb. high protein and gluten free idea for a meal and it has 15-27 total carbs. depending on the amount you ate. I plan to get this again next time I go out in a few weeks. 😀👍

Good morning everyone, at least it’s morning here in Northern California. A beautiful sunny spring day. I was diagnosed with PMR/GCA in January 2918. Put on 40 mg of pred, currently on week 4 of DorsetLady’s taper going from 10 to 9mg. No problems at this point except for hip and knee
