Losing my hair
Thank you all so much for your posts. Lots of useful info and humour. Loved the Dolly Parton story. I am very grateful to have found people on the same journey as me who 'Get it' When I fell out of the blue and fractured my hip in August 2022 I thought I would never recover but two surgeries and some

Struggling with potential ADHD realisation
I was recently told by someone that they were sure I was not neurotypical, I definitely had some form of ADHD. I thought this was ridiculous at first, I insisted everything I did, the way I acted and thought was perfectly normal, even if I was slightly over emotional at times. But he kept insisting and

Hi everyone, I’m not sure what I’m looking for from you lovely people, maybe just your experience. I’m 44 and have been an alcoholic for 11 years. I was very in the dark about my condition. Last November I had an ascities drainage, I didn’t know the cause, just a massive, painful tummy. The drainage

Relatively unique to me, my body comes out in rashes when my lungs are struggling. The rashes can come out of nowhere and will often split my skin. In a couple of area's they have permanently changed my skin. I see a great dermatology consultant who said she's never seen anything like what i have.

Depression
I had been on fluroxitine for around 14 years after feelings of sadness, depression, worrying about family safety for no real reasons After seeing my doctor started taking this medication. It made me feel better and took away these sad feelings and was able to feel 'normal' and not having all these

Genetic testing
Hello all. My dad has just completed 10 x cabazitaxal and is stable but I am looking ahead at what to do next. We have not had genetic testing done yet so think this is the next plan. I wanted to know a bit more about it. I know that if BRCA 1/2 or ATM show up then he can have oliparib but I understand

Treatment for perimenopausal symptoms and PBC
Hi, A year ago I had my first bout of very strange and severe anxiety and depression linked to perimenopause. I am 48. A blood test showed my oestrogen level had significantly dropped. After a couple of months I seemed to re-stabilise and didn’t need HRT. I had been taking a supplement, recommended by
