Bit of a Rant
So last night I probably had some of the worst cramps Iāve ever had. Iām just coming off my second period this month (the implant has been giving me 2 a month for 7 months now) and Iāve never been in so much pain. I had a negative lap a month ago now and itās feeling like a slap in the face. I ended

I live with anxiety every day. I overthink and worry excessively. I'm no stranger to counseling and strategies. Sometimes that even works. Lately, thpu, I've been riddled with ANGER. I want to lash out at everyone, want to break things and kick the furniture. I wish I could identify the source, the

What Do I Do Now?
Quick recap...... I have seen several doctors over a period of at least 11 years complaining that I wake early every morning feeling very unwell. I have said that it feels as if I am recovering from something traumatic that happens during the night and have always wondered why no doctor ever suggested

How to move forward
Good Morning This is my first time writing a post as I've come to realise in the last few months that I need to accept that I'm going to be childless, which I thought may happen but scared to accept it has happened. I've tried the IVF route which ended in miscarriages fairy recently due to meeting

Looking back
I was looking back at some of my old posts from when I joined 10years ago, my depression and anxiety was bad . Ten years later after two lots of counselling and one cause of CBT and still on 3 different antidepressants I couldn't believe that after all this my depression hasn't got better The same feelings

Worries are through the roof since BFP š
Good morning. To say Iām worrying is an understatement. We were lucky to get a BFP on Monday. The last 4 days have felt like torture. Every 10 mins or so I have dark thoughts about it all going wrong. I worry about this being a chemical pregnancy or having a miscarriage. My tummy flips and my head started

Endocronologist experience
Hi there, I recently had a top end and very experienced endocrinologist tell me that the 1.6mcg of levo per KG in weight was an old fashioned and outdated theory. Is this the case? I have just upped to 100mcg and was just wondering if Iām on the right dose. He seems to think thatās ok for me.

Anyone somatic BRCA mutation in tumour?
Hi all, Iām wondering if anyone had their tumour tested positive for BRCA1/2 mutation, but your genetic test (via blood/saliva) tested negative? And if so, did your oncology team explain what that means especially regarding if it puts you at a higher risk to develop breast cancer. At my recent oncology

Feel lost
The team at Liverpool heart and chest hospital talked about me at a MDT meeting last week and I still haven't received any updates. They arranged for all my scans to be carried out a few weeks previously. I have called the hospital asking for updates and the only information I have been given is I will

Genomic testing
Who benefits from genetic testing and when? Is it mainly when someone becomes castrate resistant and or metastatic that they recommend it? Or is there value in doing it ahead of things while one is castrate sensitive? Had RP and then salvage radiation with 6 months ADT. 1st lab after.. T of 25 and undectable

Really chuffed with the numbers as we got 5 blastocysts on our first cycle two years ago. Due to 4 failed transfers and

Dealing with it all - egg donation
I have always been ambivalent about having babies and knew I didnāt want to do it alone. Still, at 39, a round of āinsuranceā IVF egg freezing led to no eggs surviving, an internal infection and 1 week in the hospital. Now, 2 years into a great marriage (with 2 step kids) 46 yo. Went for egg donation

Help finding help
I am looking for advice on whether to talk to a professional or not. I have tried to talk to someone 3 times in the past. The first time I went to a drop-in counselling and saw a student counsellor. He ended up talking about himself for almost the entire session and I never went back. The second time
