Well, I’ve just started Couch to 5k. Again. For about the 5th time. Mainly to try to help with my mental health. It’s ridiculous how much my fitness has declined this time in the few months since I stopped. Hopefully I can motivate myself to finish it again and keep it up afterwards

Doing it again
Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
Great that you have managed to get back out there again. Keep posting on here, good and not so good, so we can help when needed and share your journey 👍
Hiya, welcome back 👍I hope I can encourage you 🙏
I'm 54, This is my third time completing C25K.. and every time I've got out there and ran..my mental health improved 🙏
Twice I've completed the program but after a while got injuries.. due to overdoing it.. pushing to hard..
My advice.. would be.. stick to the program, slow down.. don't overthink anything, don't beat yourself up if you miss a run ..but try keeping to it..
Every time you take the decision to run, move it will motivate you forward..
On your runs .. gosh I remember my third attempt at W1R1.. making those minutes are hard..but you can do it.. you CAN!! Don't think about finishing the program, think about finishing the run you are on..🙂 just that..no more xxx
Picking the right music as a distraction helps I find. I was actually up to 10K a few years ago and then I don’t even remember what happened tbh but clearly I lapsed. I never could find a decent app for 5k to 10K though which was annoying, so any suggestions welcome. I had one called Bridge 2 10K but I didn’t like it
