5.4 bleep test and c25k
Hi guys, so I have my 2nd attempt of my
fitness
test in under two weeks for my new career. The first test was awful but I think it was more mental than physical and I was on around week 3 of C25K.

Looking for A “Silver Lining” - MRI Elastography
Being honest, my diet wasn’t the best since my MRE in January but at least my
fitness
level was strong. I didn’t over consume calories but did increase carbs, sweets, and had the occasional burgers and fries. I’ve been traveling this road since 2014 and wanted a break—-I wanted to be normal.

But who is the Old Snail...?
I run just for me, and not in a race, That's one thing I never would win” * “ I have run in all weathers, all distances too And I run for
fitness
and pleasure I log all my runs and I ramble at length Memories I always will treasure.

If only this was true…… fitness age 34 😂
Apparently Mr Garmin has decided that my
fitness
age is now 34! If only that were true, but at least running with my daughter is knocking years off my
fitness
age, so I’ll make the most of it while it lasts 😉 .

CATCH-UP CORNER...WEEK 2.... The Corner is getting cosy, so do, please, come and join us :)
We worry about so much; Missing runs, loss of
fitness
and maybe motivation, and often too, about speed or distance or time Time now, to sit down together, take a breather and just re charge.

Wow!!! W9R1 done!
I have a good RHR of around 62 and my Fitbit tells me my cardio
fitness
is "excellent". I have no chest pains or stitches either. This isn't new either: I've been in "peak" while running since I started the programme.

HHM Training - Week 9 Day 5
I saw signs today that my
fitness
is much better than I thought. Between 5 and 8K I was positively flying and feeling really good. I Jeffed a little between 10 and 11K and as soon as the cramp started I stopped. I think it’s the Jeffing that is triggering the cramp.

The lockdown runner
I don't say the above to brag, simply a recognition of the fact that for someone who just wanted to keep his
fitness
up between rugby seasons so that I didn't dread August rolling around each year on account of increasing age and it getting harder to pick up again each season, I really am amazed at how

I graduated on Sunday!
I then stopped running and lost
fitness
, but resumed this year, doing it with my girlfriend this time. We chose about the only flat bit of ground near here (a beautiful path along the riverbank) and that's been our patch for all 27 runs!

Advice please 🙂
Can I alternate between 30 minutes and the shorter faster runs without loosing any
fitness
? I've looked at other methods, fartlek and the bridge to 10k but at this point a minute is about right for me. I should say I completed c25k 6 weeks ago and continue to run 3 to 4 times per week.

No longer Grieving
I am now concentrating on getting back as much of my old
fitness
as possible. It will take time and hard work and maybe some "good" pain, but will be well worth it.

Weekly Chat 20th Sep - 26 Sep; looking for the positives 👌👍✔
After a year of niggly injuries which have made for a pretty low key year of running, I find myself 4 weeks out from a half marathon with nothing like the level of
fitness
I’d like!!! I’ve cancelled or deferred several events, but can’t move this one, so am hoping to still give it a go.

MPN and fitness apps like runtastic
Hi guys, just wandered if anyone having a MPN would like to team up on runtastic or freeletics (or anything else, I'm open for suggestions). In case you are interested please drop me a line. Of course you may also comment on the post... Note: I'm doing the running (sports) for fun, not with the ambition
