AF and Smartwatches
I am looking to buy an inexpensive smartwatch for SP02, Heart rate, Stress plus the usual
fitness
/sleep etc. features. I have had to return two due to them being unable to record stress levels, I assume because of my asymptomatic AF.

For those of you still working with advanced PCa, and on ADT and Radiation. Did you still work a full schedule?
Should I transition out and focus on my health &
fitness
? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Lanzoprazole why was it prescribed?
I still feeling a bit battered, trying to get back some
fitness
level, but can only do short walks and anything the least bit strenuous brings on chest ache and esophagus ache. I just wondered if anyone else was prescribed Lansoprazole or know why it is prescribed.

I had 2 days off and today I ran 25mins straight for the first time
Days off slow me down, I know I need them sometimes, but with my
fitness
background I know I can recover fast so I think I can run more than 3 days a week

Week 2! Any advice??
That was the motivation for me, plus I have my yearly
fitness
test coming up (Bleep test 🤢) I don't think I've ever been this unfit. I've been doing ok on the runs so far, aside from a nasty stitch at times. Does anyone have any words of wisdom or tips for a stitch?

Shockingly bad
I’m completely shocked how much
fitness
I’ve lost by not running for the last 3 & a half months!! I’m gutted 😞, I was running every other day pretty much. It’s that bad I’ve had to start the couch to 5k from the start! Hopefully it won’t take too long to get my
fitness
back.

Thinking about dropping out of college... feeling passionate and interested about something eventhough I'm depressed on some levels.....
I'm dropping my studies because it paid, so I'm planning to save the next 3 semesters so I could use it for my expenses on this
fitness
field..... So what do you guys think??

Shin splints and other injuries
I have taken to using the bike and cross-trainer at the gym to keep my cardio
fitness
going, but I'd much rather be running! When I looked up what causes shin splints I read that increasing intensity or distance too soon can do this.

Update After 3 Cabazitaxel Treatments.
I have had a resting heart rate in the low to mid 50’s for decades because of aerobic
fitness
. It has moved up to the mid-’70s and low 80’s. When I get on the elliptical, it goes up fast but still does not get over 115 to 120 when I am exercising.

I am convinced that diet and
fitness
are major contributor but there are so many differing options/experts. Pradip Jamnadas / Paleo cardiologist / Ivor Cummins / Esselsteyn / Gregor / Ornish etc.

Consolidation...
The lesson, for me anyway, is that just by expecting nothing special but just doing it, I am improving my overall
fitness
and continue to do so. So fellow C25Kers, keep going and start believing.

First Surge Training And Thought I Was Going To Need The Defibrillator :)
Downloaded the Asics Runkeeper App and thought I'd try some different training to improve speed, stamina and
fitness
and break up the monotony of repetition. Read lots about needing to build core strength and mix up the type of runs (as I'm mostly doing 5K's every other day).

Tales from the IC: zero-drop shoe quandaries (# 2)
But I’ve decided to try an ultra short run this weekend in order to - not loose my running
fitness
too much - keep my metabolism up which is for me a driver for healing and well-being - test out tentatively how my metatarsals feel after giving it a bit of a workout - and just feel like a runner again

Where to begin again
I still feel I have a level of
fitness
but I know my form is not as toned as it was….I also want to get back out for my mental health as I felt so much better and more motivated when I exercising regularly…..I just don’t want to overdo it and have to stop before I’ve started.

Life with Ectopics - 20 years old
Ever since that vaccine, I have never been able to do what I love again, my
fitness
has completely deteriorated and there’s no way I can run around a netball court again with my sensitive heart.
