Week 7 Brick Wall
I've never really done any
fitness
regimes in my life before all this and gained all my weight over the years after getting married and having children! Has anyone got any advice how to get over this wall?

More Questions about Post Transplant Life
We have a
fitness
center in my community. I have been working out since 2008. I am only 5 feet 3 inches in height and weigh 106 pounds, but I have robust stamina and high strength for my size. I am concerned that I will lose these gains after transplant, even after a year.

Alicia Morgans, MD, on PCa in Older Men – Determining frailty or fitness will help guide treatment decisions, MedPageToday, 11/27/2023

Given this, geriatric assessments to determine a patient's frailty or
and inform treatment decisions are important in prostate cancer patients older than 65. These assessments can help avoid overtreating frailer men or undertreating fitter ones, the authors explained.

A tale of 2 runs
I may do W5 R3 again as I continue to build my running
fitness
up again or I may continue with W6 R3, I'm pretty ok with the concept of completing it but with not running for 2 months I know there would have been a drop off, I'll see how it goes, I may do W5 R3 and then jump to W6 R3.

Is HE always inevitable with severe chronic liver disease?
Transplant is not an option, due to serious underlying health conditions and also total lack of
fitness
. She has at least 15 of these tumours taking over her liver now. She has had a resection last year and two embolizations this year and now it is far too risky to do anything else.

Week 1 done
Since the bunion surgery I have been doing a lot of dog walking, with a few tough hills to try to improve my general
fitness
, and living in hope! So now I’m delighted to report that Week 1 is done.

Very high heart rate after exertion/exercise
I appreciate that I haven't done any serious cardio work in 3years but I can walk for ages without a problem so I'm not sure it's it's entirely a
fitness
thing. Is there a connection with hypothyroidism here?

Runkeeper’s 5k plan, Week 5 Done!!! Into the last week 🏃🏼♀️🏃🏿🏃🏽♂️🏃🏼♀️🏃🏿
So it’s a great way to adapt the sessions to your level of ability and
fitness
. It also helps make the last run of that week not as daunting as it could look.

March Walking Challenge: Nudge Nudge
I’ve realised reading above article that I actually use ‘nudges’ myself in various ways, the latest being my hunt for a whole month of red circles on my iPhone
fitness
app. Of course, question remains, who does the nudging? Me or Apple Inc?

Types of Exercise
I wonder if walking is better than a Zumba or cardio dance class or water
fitness
classes? The intensity of the numbness comes and goes but I don’t know if it’s related to the exercise. I am not diabetic and the neurologist says I have idiopathic neuropathy. Now starting to creep up my legs 😕.

Apple fitness trends (HELP)!
hi, I have no idea about these trends in Apple
fitness
but I’m looking at increasing my
fitness
and just wondered if these trends looked ok? What should I realistically be aiming for? Any help appreciated! Thanks Nicole

medication after open heart surgery
However the time has definitely come to go back to them (flaring all over now and I’m finding it difficult to do the walking required to get back to some sort of cardiac
fitness
after the toll taken by the op). The rheumatologist wants me on abatacept.

getting better but anxiety over future
I've also been trying to do running to improve awful
fitness
. From a very slow start where I was pretty much walking, I can now do a 5km in just over 30 mins. I've not really had breathlessness since doing this though mucus and nasal issues still recur regularly.
