Hello I’m just reaching out to see if anyone else has been having the same symptoms as myself. First off - I am 50 years old and believe I am peri menopausal. However, it may just be a coincidence but since being diagnosed with Lupus SLE back in May and starting on various medication ie Ramipril, Hydroxychloroquine

Rash on legs, spreading to
I'm on Ramipril, Atorvastatin, esomprazole and 75mg aspirin. I've been taking these for 18 months since my MI. I stopped taking ticagrelor after 12 months. Anyway, 6 days ago, I started to get a rash on my legs which has gotten worse and worse and is now spreading to my belly. It's really itchy/uncomfortable

Drug Combinations
Have been taking Diltiazem and flecainide for many years which seems to have kept AF under control. However after recent bad experience with Losartan for BP I have been prescribed Amlodipine. Does anyone out there have experience of two Calcium Blockers?

Improving Blood Pressure
Dear all 6 weeks ago my BP was around 190/115. I have since lost a stone in weight and improved my exercise. I was put on 5 mg of Ramipril and my blood pressure dropped to around 160/100. Two weeks ago I was prescribed an additional dose of 5 mg of Amlodipine and currently my BP is around 135/90

Things are settling down...
Morning all, after over four months of seeing various specialists talking to my GP (note not face to face because of Covid) and ten visits to A&E the medicos seem to have agreed what is the problem. The original angina diagnosis was shown to be false as a later CTCA scan showed my arteries were pretty

Hi -- I'm 5 years post kidney transplant and over the past year I've developed swelling (pitting edema) in my lower legs. My eyes are also extemely puffy in the morning as the fluid pools there overnight. I'm curiuos if others have taken diuretics (lasix) to address this, or why they have chosen not

Heart Attack
My ex-husband age 71 had a heart attack 4 weeks ago, 2 stents and they cleaned out a blocked blood vessel. He came home but was very breathless, diagnosis was water retention. A couple days in hospital he came home and seemed better but started having problems at night not being able to sleep flat

Heart failure and illnesses
I was diagnosed with heart failure as a result of a viral infection at some point last year. Cardiomyopathy has been mentioned but I've no firm diagnosis just yet. Generally I'm okay and I'm only on Ramipril at present. However, every time I have some bug I seem to struggle. Last week I had some viral

Cold and Flu treatment for those taking Ramipril
I notice that you have to be careful treating colds or flu when taking blood pressure medicines. What over the counter medicines can you take? Just asking for future reference. Thank you.
