silly question possibly. My doctor has change my dose of amlodipine from 5mg to 10mg. I have to pick it up later. I have some 5mg left, could I just double up on the 5mg as I normally take my pills in the morning rather than wait for the chemist to open. I know, silly question. (I know you can’t give

'Headspin'
I'm sure we have all had a 'Spinning Head' at some time or other, especially since being diagnosed with CLL. Many of us soon realise that CLL is soon joined by a host of other Diagnosis and Prognosis, which can overwhelm us at times,, thus the perpetual 'Headspin'. After five years of W&W, I was told

Fed Up.
Hello again, very long time, no see. I will freely admit that a huge part of my absence has been pure denial. As 2024 begins, I realise I have been a prisoner of my health problems since late 2020, when it all really kicked off probably due in no small way to our good friend Covid, both mentally and

Vivid dreams and nightmare
Hi.Does anyone else find themselves plagued by vivid dreams and nightmares? Ive been told Amlodipine can cause them but ive been taking it for ages now a few years at least. Could it be bisoprolol, prasugrel or Atorvastatin interacting? Or one of those themselves? Ive only been taking them a couple

Does anyone here who takes Amlodipine dream alot every night or did you have alot of dreams when you first started taking the tablets but they've now stopped? Drug shortages - 10 days and waiting
Not strictly "on topic", but I was wondering if others here have been experiencing difficulty in getting their prescribed drugs? I'd heard of problems but had not experienced any until this month. I have a regular prescription of 8 items for various fairly minor age-related ailments including Apixaban

amlodipine
I am just out of hospital having suffered an atypical heart attack (no pain) and have been put on Losartan to lower blood pressure. Unfortunately it is dropping diastolic pressure to much. Doctor wanted to try a ca channel blocker and I think I read on this site that some people were able to take amlodipine

Heartburn
Hi I am just wondering if anyone has any experience of heartburn on tablets for AF. I am on diltiazem 60mg and edexoban 60mg and Rampril. The edexoban I have been on for ages but was changed from Bisoprolol to Diltiazem and rampril from amlodipine in October. Thank You.

BP readings way out of kilter!
Newbie here so please be gentle if my query is in the re-inventing the wheel category. I've had elevated BP for many years and have been on Amlodipine and Irbesartan for 5+ years. I was called into my GP surgery yesterday morning for a BP check. The clinician checked it manually and got a reading

Amlodipine Fatigue
I was diagnosed with high BP in December 2023 when I had to go to A&E with sudden onset of a racing heart rate and increasing BP, 210/101 at its highest!! Enalapril finally brought it under control but after about a week I developed the side effect of a really bad, persistent cough. My GP decided to
