I discovered Metoprolol may cause arthralgia- myalgia
https://www.the-rheumatologist.org/article/case-report-metoprolol-induced-arthralgia/ I decided to not take that beta-blocker anymore. I still will take Amlodipine and Lisinopril and may ask to go on carvedilol again and still have a bunch of carvedilol pills I can take. It was after I was switched

Hi You guys have always been so ace so I come to you again! My husband had a HA in 2018, 3 stents, age 42. At the time fit cyclist. Blood pressure was the cause likely stress related. Cholesterol was fine. Roll forward and his meds haven’t been reviewed or changed since we agreed with GP he

Annual bood tests post MI
Hi, I had an MI 9 years ago and stents fitted, and have been taking the usual meds. ever since - aspirin, Ramipril, Bisoprolol and Atorvastatin. I went for my annual blood tests earlier this week and today looked for my results on the NHS app - no cholesterol results. I’ve asked if they just take longer

LISINOPRIL AND AFIB
Hello all, are there any on this forum taking lisinopril for high blood pressure? I just came across this today and it could explain why I and maybe others have more afib episodes than we should; 1. Caution: High blood pressure/heart disease meds and potassium-rich foods like bananas, potatoes and licorice

Medication side effects
Morning all, I had a HA 12 weeks ago and am the the usual collection of meds but for the past month I have had chronic diarrhea, even waking me up numerous times in the night. Last week my Ramipril was swapped over to Candersartan as the doctor thought that this might sort it out. It has improved marginally

Af and coughs
Had a niggly cough for several months and then diagnosed with Af. Now on beta blockers, anti coagulants, gastro tablets and amlodipine. Now have a stinking cold and cough is really annoying. My question is, does af cause the cough or do the meds affect the cough. I do not feel breathless and I can walk

when will i feel better?
My dad has been declining since heart attack in September. He has just been prescribed Ramipril. How long do you think it will be before he notices some benefits? We would be grateful to know of others’ experiences with ACE inhibitors

Doxazosin
It’s almost 2 years since my heart attack and triple bypass. I’m being started today on Doxazosin 1mg as my BP is high. I can only tolerate Amlodipine 5mg because of swelling ankles and legs and Ezetamide made my pulse go crazy. This had been ongoing for about a year. I take max dose of Ramipril.
