Does Afib go on to become heart failure
I'm 64 and following a massive pulmonary embolism last year they discovered I have afib. On Xarelto, Bisoprolol and Amlodipine for life for both conditions now and I have had one cardioversion, which lasted three days. They don't know if PE caused the afib, or the afib caused the PE - I suspect the latter

Hi all, would appreciate some shared experiences. My MRI suggests high BP as a main precursor to my AF, quickly got persistent but luckily well treated so far, since my ablation in July. But ironically since starting to get fitter again and getting my weight in check, my BP has been going up again, averaging

Golden Milk
My husband has developed an arthritic hip and is keen to try golden milk. It is a mixture of turmeric, ginger, black pepper, non dairy milk and honey. It can also have cinnamon added. I'v got an arthritic knee in addition to AF, and he's keen for me to take it as well. I'm a bit dubious. I'm on

Is it good news?
My diabetes nurse complimented me on maintaining good sugar control, however my blood pressure was slightly elevated. Referring to her computer screen, she notes that I am already at maximum dosage with my Ramipril and suggested an additional pill. Agreed to refer back after three months of trying to

Increasing tablet dosage
Hello my Husband was diagnosed with HF and AF back in August, amongst other medication he was given Ramipril 2x2.5 daily. This week the Gp said the hospital wanted an increase of an extra 1.25 mg Ramipril , also as his mood is low a sertraline 50mg x1 was given. Since then his already very poor appetite
