In extremely vulnerable group but don't understand why
On Monday I got a text, followed by a letter, informing me that I have been identified as someone at risk of severe illness and thereby extremely vulnerable if I were to catch coronavirus. Instructions are not to leave home, even for food and meds, and stay away from others indoors. There is a list of

Covid-19 and high blood pressure medication
I have just been speaking with my GP about the link between ACE inhibitors and ARB drugs prescribed for hypertension (and other conditions) and the incidence of severe Covid-19 infection (several million of us are on these meds). He said there was no proven link and these stories were just dreamed up

Further update
So I've had a telephone consultation with my GP today as I still haven't heard anything from the endo he referred me to. I have virtually beg him to prescribe me thyroxine on the NHS as I can't afford to keep paying for it privately - especially now. I've quoted the "other" nice guidelines that they

Bisoprolol and ramipril
Was on ramipril for a while. A week ago 2.5mg I'd bisoprolol was added. While my tachycardia settled lovely, I started getting horrendous tightness in the chest. Can't take deep breath, pains in the chest, darts. Very tired, dizzy. If I do some even light activity, my chest gets extremely tight. All

Weight reduction with angina
Im a 65 year old female and had a RCA stent fitted in 2013. I can walk on the flat over a fair distance but uphill is another story mostly resulting in an angina attack. I rarely use my spray as it gives me an headache and I can manage with just resting. I admit I don’t walk everyday? I’m 2 weeks into

Valsartan
Have just been changed from Ramipril to Valsartan. Started them on Thursday and on Friday felt aful as my BP had dropped to 82/68. Best it came up to was 105/83. Felt pretty much the same yesterday, lowest 84/68 best 95/87. Today I made sure I left 12 hours between doses and was 94/76. Not feeling quite

Can't seem to stop constant underarm odor
Hello, My wife has had PD for around four years. This strong underarm odor always returns in 1-2 days after a good cleaning. The anti-perspirant deodorants make no difference at all, because she very seldom, if ever, perspires/sweats. I've started using my Brut deodorant on her but that was no help either
