Nebivolol side affects

Good morning you lovely lot

I’d like to know if anyone has had the same or similar experience as myself.

I have ARVC, inherited gene.

Life long palpitations.

Been on Diltiazem for 2 years but still have the palpitations. Not as intense or lasting as long as pre medication.

Cardiologist at St Thomas’ decided to put me on Nebivolol and Ramipril last week.

I started the Nebivolol 4 days ago. Told to hold off with the Ramipril until I’d got used to the Nebivolol.

Ended up in A&E yesterday 😔

Having terrible palpitations, pretty much constantly. My heart is extremely erratic.

Chest feels tight and like someone is sitting on me!

Had same experience with Bisoprolol last year.

I’ve emailed my cardiologist this morning on advice from the A&E doctor.

I thought these beta blockers are supposed to slow the heart rate down!

I feel awful. I’m scared to move for fear of starting more palpitations.

Anyone else had similar experience?

Yes can totally empathise with your problem. I’m still trying to sort my situation out with my cardiologist It’s scary and I have been rushed to hospital several times. I’ve looked at my diet and the foods I eat to make me feel better. Meditation is good. Try and stick with it. Always express how you feel.
