Lansoprazole and High BP?
Hi. Has anyone have/had high blood pressure that was caused by taking Lansoprazole? I’ve been on Lansoprazole for gastric reflux for about four months. My bp is very high.(150/120) I’m already taking 7.5 Ramipril. I didn’t think about the Lansoprazole. A friend suggested that it could be that. I have

Anyone on here can give me some feedback on Entresto? If you found it a good med/side effects etc.. My cardiologist is thinking to switch me from Ramipril to it?

Stroke on Apixaban
I was taking Apixaban for paroxysmal AF after a catheter ablation several years ago, which mostly cured me of the debilitating bouts of AF which I was suffering. The paroxysmal AF was hard for me to notice but detected by a monitor, and 'self terminating', so I declined Flecainide as I didn't fancy

Concern bp isn't coming down
I was diagnosed with high BP this time last year was 189/146 at the time. I was immediately put on Ramipril which only reduced it slightly then amlidipine was added but ankles & legs were swollen so was changed to doxasosin & ramipril but still wouldn't budge despite several increases, I am now on 10mg

Enalapril
Hi all, I had HA &stent 10/2020, left with some heart damage (15% not working) after 1yr stopped Clopidogrel👍🏻. I have stopped taking Ramipril in Dec 21 re side effects, cardiologist advised I start Enalapril, so reviews on this med would be appreciated. I have also cut down my bisoprolol 2.5 mg

Bisoprolol info & target (?) & a new specialist….
Took a call today from the pharmacist at the GP. Briefly discussed the current drugs & told that my allocated centre is one of the largest & best cardiac centres in the country. Perhaps one of the best too. If they say I need to take a certain drug & dosage then they’ll not stop it. I’m to be wary though

How often are meds reviewed by GP or Cardiologist.
I have been on the same medication since Feb 2020, never the doses or my case reviewed with the exception of an appointment with a Cardiologist in July 2020. Dealing with my GP surgery and getting any response from them is hard work, however and before contacting them I wanted to check with others how

Abiraterone, prednisone, eplerenone, and blood pressure
I’ve been on Lupron and abiraterone + prednisone for three years, which has maintained my PSA < 0.1. But my BP has been increasing even though I’ve been taking benazepril 20 mg/day plus amlodipine besylate 2.5 mg/day for many years. Average BP over Jan 2022 has been 167/80, which obviously isn’t good

Am I over worrying?
Hi everybody. This is my first time posting. I am a 57yr old lady. I went to hospital for some tests yesterday and was devastated when I was told the test could not be done as they had found out I was suffering from heart failure! I felt like I had been handed a death sentence! I was told to go home
