Having been diagnosed in august with mild dilated cardiomyopathy, I have been taking ramipril & bisoprolol 2.5mg for two months, I had a few strange episodes due to the medicines but got to a place where I felt my body was used to It & the symptoms

Tapering and blood pressure meds ?
I am tapering on rheumatologists instruction by 2.5 per week over 6 weeks (posted re this before to perform a scan without pred masking anything). Since then been prescribed meds for blood pressure as was high. I'm now on 12.5 pred and my blood pressure is in the normal range finally. Just wondering

Palpitations
I had a small HA nearly 5 years ago and am on Asprin, Remipril, Atorvastatin and Amlodipine. Over the last 10 months I've lost almost three stone (intentionally). I feel as if my internal organs are having a few issues with not having the visceral fat I had for three decades or so! I've had digestive

Depression
Hi everyone, I started ramipril a few days ago. Everything is going great with lowering the bp although it’s still not quite normal but so much better then it was, however today woke up feeling so depressed. Looked at the side effects and yep there it is. Just wondered if anyone else had this and how

Review after 4weeks OFF bisoprolol
Well, I saw my gp this morning and we both agreed I need some sort of blood pressure medication. I asked for bendrfuromethiside(or however it’s spelt 🤣) as my normal bp outside of af episodes was fine, and I got no awful side effects (no peeing for England either!) but he wasn’t happy with that because

Oops!
Apologies, I said in my previous post I was taking Ramipril and I should have said Rosuvastatin 5mg once a day. the Ramipril are to reduce my blood pressure, no sleep for days has certainly taken its toll!

Ramipril
My GP has reduced my dosage of Ramipril today from 10mg to 5mg. I've been experiencing blurred vision since the dosage was increased. I will now monitor my blood pressure closely. Hopefully the eye problems will disappear.

Ramipril
Hi I don't usually post on here just read everyone's posts. I saw the cardiologist on Wednesday and he doubled the amount of Ramipril because he was not happy with my blood pressure. I was at the dentist on Friday and had two teeth removed and since taking the double dose of Ramipril and the dentists

Bisoprolol for HBP and Anxiety
Well I thought I was there - Controlled my BP with Ramipril and Amlodipine but now due to some side effects my GP has stopped the Amlodipine and replaced it with Bisoprolol. Anyone got experience of Beta Blockers for HBP? It may suit me as I also suffer from Anxiety but interested in any views. I start

Any advice? I had HA May 2020, got 3 stents fitted on ramipril, bisoprolol, atrovastatin and aspirin.
Before my HA my resting pulse was 62, after medication it went to 55, I exercise, became vegetarian and practically stopped drinking. I am 53 and no athlete. 😂 My resting pulse is now averaging 48 and occasionally lower. I feel fine. I have not seen a doctor since I left hospital. Is this ok?

Amlodipine side effects and fitness
After a three month spike in blood pressure readings I’ve been prescribed 5mg Amlodipine as a supplement to 15mg candesarten. The spike returned readings of around 155/90 whilst for the four months prior had been well within 130/80. There was no questioning what happened in my life at time of the spike

ERFA
Hello everyone, I started a trial of ERFA, a couple of weeks ago after, at last, seeing an Endocrinologist following 30 years on Levothyroxine which wasn’t working. I wonder if anyone here has had any experience on ERFA? I realise that it might take ages to feel any benefits but within a few days the

Family and my own bp
Recently discovered thanks to a pill review I have high blood pressure, it’s scared me a little as figures getting high. I’m young and fit but have a terrible family history. The docs have spoken to me about alcohol and food. Which I’m trying to be good with. Had a heart tracing done and put on ramipril
