Amlodipine Unwanted Side Effects
Several years ago, I was put on my first ever medication for High Blood Pressure, AMLODIPINE. One of the unwanted side-effects of it was abnormal chest pain on the left side of the chest. I even had to get a GP to check me out, but he said that there was nothing wrong. Eventually, my own GP phased

Amlodipine and heart arrhythmias
My husband takes Amlodipine for mildly raised BP and for about 2 hours after taking it his heart performs badly. Until recently, it was merely a slightly raised rate and PAC's, but in the last week his rate is 50% higher than normal, massive amounts of PAC's and PVC's and Kardia shows 'possible AF

AF Meds
After an AF ablation had a pm fitted due to sluggish feeling. Have since been prescribed Edoxaban, Bisoprolol and Candesartan. I had issues with breathless and tight chest plus Lactic acid build up in hips, so they prescribed Amlodipine and Nicorandil thinking it must be Angina but i feel as bad

I am 66 I am going for an angioplasty on the 27th November with the possibility of a stent in LAD. Very nervous. Microvessel angina or vasospastic disease
I had migraines for most of my adult life. They became a daily problem for me. In November of 2012 I started having heart pain which caused a heart attack and was misdiagnosed as having a classisc heart attack and was put on Beta blockers which exaserbated the problem. At the same time I was diagnosed

monitoring BP at home and it just gets higher and higher. I’m in such an anxious state now it seems pointless doing it? Anyone else?
Been on Candesartan and Amlodipine for over a year. Had a few dizzy spells so saw gp wondered if it was the Amlodipine but now think I’ve got anxiety about having high BP. Checking it at home is just making both worse!

Anyone taking Anticoagulants for AF, together with Alendronic Acid for Osteoporosis?
I've got AF and taking Edoxaban. I'm also taking Atorvastatin, Ramipril, Bisoprolol and Levothyroxine.I've just been told that I have Osteoporosis, which is a side effect of taking Letrozole for 5 years for breast cancer. Alendronic Acid can help osteoporosis, together with taking calcium and vitamin

BP Stable!
Not written a post in a while but just popped by to say my BP seems to be quite stable on the combination of 5mg Amlodipine and 5mg of Ramipril and fingers crossed it stays that way! Still working to lose weight and get healthier. My only concern is, since starting the Ramipril, I’ve had bouts of pulsatile

enzalutamide and amlodipine
"enzalutamide will decrease the effect of amlodipine by affecting hepatic/intestinal CYP3A4 metabolism "....i was prescribed amlodipine and noticed it was not effective in lowering blood pressure so this must be the reason. Would a different calcium channel blocker work?
