Hubby Update - B12D Lanzoprazole
Hi Guys Thank you all in advance. Update on hubby. To remind you of his background, two stents in 2018. He has heart disease due to genetics not lifestyle. He doesn’t drink excessively or smoke, has a bit more tum than in his youth but still does a physical job as a builder. He’s been on a low

forgotten?
I am prescribed amlodipine and bisopherol for high blood pressure, one of each every day. Now I have forgotten whether I have taken them today or not. I wonder if it is better to take an extra dose or miss a dose. Iris x

The most common side effects include headaches, flushing, feeling tired and swollen ankles. These usually improve after a few days. Amlodipine can also be called amlodipine besilate, amlodipine maleate or amlodipine mesylate. I am sending this because it says most about the side effects of Amlodipine

Hello lovely people. I'm in a proper pickle at the moment, so would appreciate your views, comments or experiences. My blood pressure is, apparently, too high so was put on amlodipine 5mg. After the first couple of days, being catatonic, things resolved a bit but leaving me dizzy, unsteady on my feet

Change in Blood Pressure Meds a Disaster
I went to my nephrologist two weeks ago. They took my BP and it was absolutely perfect - 118/62 which is hard to believe because my BP is usually high in the doctor's office. At the time, I was taking 10 mg of Amlodipine (maximum dose) and 100 mg of Metoprolol. I was SOOOOO happy! So the nephrologist

Hair loss due to meds?
Hello everyone. Just wondered if anyone else has suffered hair loss due to heart meds? Blood pressure medication
I've been on Ramipril and Bendroflumethiazide for years to manage hypertension, associated with T2 diabetes, and subsequently AF came into play, with betablockers and Rivaroxaban. But my blood pressure still kept creeping up, so the GP threw Doxazosin into the mix. This got the BP down to a better level

Tiredness and sore legs with Ramipril
I’ve been taking Ramipril for 4 months now, initially 2.5mg raised to 5mg. The two side effects that have really bothered me are severe tiredness out of nowhere, and inconsistent in it’s arrival (or not) AND secondly very weak legs after very menial tasks - like climbing a flight of stairs. I tend to

swollen ankles
I had a heart attack last March 2022 and I am now concerned because I have swollen ankles for the first time. I take Ramipril and Atorvastatin, would these tablets be the cause of swollen ankles? Anyone else experiencing the same problem? Many thanks

Reducing Apixaban dose
Has anyone else high blood pressure for number of years then in last few weeks it's been fairly low? Eg 104/73 at 9am. I know this is not too low but 2weeks ago I had a few seconds faint ( while sitting waiting for sandwich) I was with friends just after completing a walk with a bit of an incline. It

appointment update
Well left for my appointment with a HR of 111. ECG hospital HR 174, BP 167/132.- full blown AF. Deposited in chair and wheeled to the consultant. My husband offered to push as the poor nurse wasn’t strong enough ( I only weigh 67kg ). If the resource was available I would have been kept in hospital

Indapamide with levothyroxine?
I have been prescribed Indapamide for high blood pressure. I also have Ramipril which I take in the evening. The Indapamide pack says to take in the morning. Can I take it with my thyroxine? I couldn’t see any contraindications for it but is it going to impede the thyroxine? ShouldI take it at night
