AF Meds

After an AF ablation had a pm fitted due to sluggish feeling. Have since been prescribed Edoxaban, Bisoprolol and Candesartan. I had issues with breathless and tight chest plus Lactic acid build up in hips, so they prescribed Amlodipine and Nicorandil thinking it must be Angina but i feel as bad as it ever did. I was told once AF was sorted you can discard any meds because i had a good heart, no furring al pipes clear so no need for stents. What can i ask for as this is not what i expected

Hello :-)

It is good that the tests show your heart is ok but not so good you are having these symptoms and having to deal with them

I would talk to my Doctor is the only advice I can think of but I do hope others may see your post and be able to share their experiences with you :-)

Let us know how you get on :-) x

Thank you. Its frustrating to be seemingly coping with the swimming and dog walking, yet get a hill and its like have something squeeze all the air out of you plus cramp. The doctor said at your age (72) the blood vessels may not react as quick as you want or need, causing the problem, preventing extra blood to the lungs and muscles . But i said all my arteries are clear, so i am told and with a pacemaker should this be taken care of?I am looking for answers which nobody wants to give, just more meds, which dont always seem to compliment each other, looking at other posts.
