enzalutamide and amlodipine

"enzalutamide will decrease the effect of amlodipine by affecting hepatic/intestinal CYP3A4 metabolism "....i was prescribed amlodipine and noticed it was not effective in lowering blood pressure so this must be the reason. Would a different calcium channel blocker work?

I take Enza - Lupron for my aPCa, and for my bp, I take amlodipine And lisinopril w/ htz and it controls my bp OK. Still it seems like my bp jumps higher and quicker , when I exert myself with the Enza. Otherwise my bp is pretty good with the three drugs. I am diagnosed with “ drug induced “ ( Lupron - Xtandi ) high bg to begin with.

Man , big article …. Lupron fog attention span = 15 seconds yayaya yayay yayayay. I’ll get my medical research buddy to go over that and brief me properly. He is prominent in the statistical crunching side of medical - drug research , he’s kewl with this stuff.

In just a few words, I think their main finding is: Men who take ACE inhibitors (e.g., Lotensin) with ENZ & ABI seem to live a bit longer than those taking ENZ & ABI but not taking an ACE inhibitor. Effects of other BP meds not as significant.
