Fatigue support?
Hi 👋🏻 I just wanted to ask about people’s experiences of
fatigue
with RA and if you’ve been able to access any specific support from your Rheum teams for it?

Armour thyroid
I feel hypo, brain fog,
fatigue
, weight gain, but everytime I restart my armour, even on a tiny dose (15mg) I start getting heart palpitations, dizziness and weakness! What the heck is going on?

Sertaline 8 weeks in
Eventually the doctors couldn't find anything wrong even though i had chest pains, diziness,
fatigue
, attacks every single day. But all tests where fine all the time. So was diagnosed with GAD, health anxiety and panic disorder/panic attacks. Started sertaline 8 weeks ago.

My angina diary gave me a shock
A couple of months ago I was advised to keep a diary of my angina symptoms - left hand side chest/neck/collarbone/arm pain,
fatigue
, lightheadedness, heavy legs.. I was asked to send it in to the cardiac nurse yesterday and so I transferred all my notes from my phone calendar into a spreadsheet.

Statins! Oh the pain
I was put on Turkish drugs and apart from
fatigue
I was fine on these. I have since been on Atorvstatin 80mg but I have suffered really badly with aching legs and arms. I spoke to GP and they changed me to a lower dose of simvastatin 40mg.

Polysomnography Test and Multiple Sleep Latency Test
Daytime tiredness and
fatigue
(which I’m thinking is due to persistent untreatable angina but mainly stable) can be severe and again if do sleep I wake up feeling wretched so I try to fight it if I can. Getting me “down” mentally.

He is very focused on his nutrition and exercise at the moment but is getting very depressed as he is not sleeping well due to night sweats, which is further exacerbating his
fatigue
meaning that he has no energy to exercise. I want to support him and would appreciate any advice. Many thanks

Help with insight into cortisol test
Does this look like adrenal
fatigue
? If not, what could it mean? I rather expected it to be low. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that is isn't. I am currently taking T3 only for hypothyroidism. I tested thyroid when I tested iron (9/05/2023) and the levels looked about right for T3 only.

Do I have heart failure or heart disease?
Shortly after that severe
fatigue
hit me. I put this down to PMR/tapering steroids - a known and common symptom. But now I am not so sure. I had a NM Myocardial Perfusion scan in February 2024. This showed that part of my heart muscle was not getting an adequate blood supply.

Sound Familiar?
-Whenever I get a cold/covid etc it takes forever to recover and the
fatigue
lingers for months. I've been to the GP several times about this with bloods taken and no follow up because everything is 'normal' -Exercise is a no go.

Just some thoughts....
Together by sharing how we cope with itching or the
fatigue
- or just by how our day is going - can help another person as well. We all want validation that how we feel is 'ok' and others have felt the same way. Don't be afraid to just share with us how your day is going - or not going.

T3 Trial and feeling worse
Apologies for checking in - I know I need to sit it out and find my personal optimal dosage, but still feel rough - headaches and tinnitus,
fatigue
& tiredness plus gastritis. Next review is end of March though which seems a way off!

So tired of trying so hard
I dont want to let people down, but i literally cant go on like this. its the headache and
fatigue
and numbness that i get on one side when ive had a busy day that i cant cope with anymore. Ive stoped seeing friends, doing anything outside of work, all to try and manage but its just too hard.
