What would you do?
Question, would it be wise to increase my Prednisolone dosage for a while to get the pain and
fatigue
down to manageable levels again? If so, what would be a sensible increase from 2.5mg daily? I remember seeing this advice for someone else a few years ago. Thanks.

alcohol as a diagnostic tool
I have posted many times regarding daily morning
fatigue
and weakness , this has happened every time i enter reduction below 6 mgs. The Synatchen and morning cortisol test done at 4 mgs have both denied me the diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency by being normal .

fatigue
so am writing about it hoping someone else may benefit from my experience I had a 3hr consultation with exhaustive questioning about my medical history and some weird testing of my muscle strength to establish which supplements would help

Restless "Legs" in Legs, Arms and now even Hands and Feet - Or is it really Restless Legs ??
I wouldn't describe my sleep as good or refreshing, but mainly because of my chronic
fatigue
and because I am waking up with heavy pain several times of the night. But despite that I could sleep for maybe even 10 hours if I wanted. Does this sound like usual RLS?

re: newbie
i had a routine blood test back in july, due to complaints of
fatigue
/weight not budging and cold toes and hands. To my disbelief my tsh was 12.3! T4 at 8.4. Vit d at 25(over 50 is optimal). B12/iron in range.

Waste of time at new Endo
He would not entertain me remarking about RFA either, He did not care about how my daughter was saying she was gaining weight and
fatigue
, he said oh your tsh is low almost hyper! It was a waste of her sick day off, now the biopsy is Monday and daughter is so anxious.

Update: Severe Asthma (Eosinophilic) & Clinic referral & Fatigue
Hi, I wrote a post a while ago and so many replied - thank you. By some miracle they rang me because they had a cancellation at the severe asthma clinic so I've now been seen. You were right - they are wonderful and all so knowledgeable and I feel less insane. They diagnosed severe esinophilic asthma

Thanks to all the advice on here
I recently experienced a stepwise worsening of extreme
fatigue
and breathlessness due i think to the recent new heart meds as scans all stable. My blood results for thyroid seem reasonably ok (TSH a bit low) due to all the helpful advice I have received on this site so a big thank you.

Pred Side Effects, Tapering & Returning to work
My symptoms are mainly nausea, dizziness,
fatigue
& brain fog, which I’ve had since taking Pred. I’m convinced these are due to the steroids, as I didn’t have these before the diagnosis. I did have the immobility, pains, blood inflammations and rapid response to Pred.

Supplements for adrenal support
Some information suggests that high cortisol is the reason for adrenal
fatigue
and recommends supplements which are ‘calming’ and lower cortisol. Other sources claim, quite rightly, that if people are in a state of adrenal
fatigue
, their cortisol is low and they need it to be increased.

Worried out of my mind
This really helped although I am doing this against medical advice as the GPS act like I’m injecting crack cocaine or doing something stupid and unnecessary when in reality B12 injections were the only thing that worked for me and the only thing that improved my symptoms of
fatigue
, brain fog, sore lips

Does this mean Adrenal Fatigue?
Hi again, I just received my results for my cortisol saliva test and it looks concerning to me - can anyone shed any light? I assume this is why I struggle with T3? Many thanks

Memory problems and Cognitive decline
It feels like I have extreme mental
fatigue
and my brain simply wont work. I am 61 and have read a few online articles saying these meds should be prescribed with caution in seniors.

tingling feet and hands
Also have treated underactive thyroid and
fatigue
. I'm aware that B12 should ideally be higher for T4 conversion.

Overwhelmed and scared!
I’ve not had a general anaesthetic since 18 and with other medical conditions I have (fibro & ME/Chronic
Fatigue
) I’m stressing myself out that those symptoms will flare up even more and I’ll be really unwell. I’m normally quite a positive person but keep thinking the worst.
