Week 3: Mind, Feet, and Perseverance: These are the Three Companies I Keep
My feet hurt a bit due to my shoes because I felt the pangs of plantar
fasciitis
that I used to have way back in the day). I now see why they suggest getting fitted running shoes by Week 4. My mood too has improved significantly.

Heel pain!! š© Advice on stretches please!!
Think itās too high up to be plantar
fasciitis
but have been advised (thankfully) that itās not my achilles. Frustratingly I have not run since Christmas and still getting the pain on and off (particularly in the mornings). Can anyone recommend any stretches that might help me get back running.

Flare and increasing Pred?
Iāve been at 5mg pred for 4 months but have got increasingly painful shoulders, very painful feet and Achilles (told it was probably plantar
fasciitis
), if so then I guess it may be due to increasing inflammation after coming down to 5mg. Now my hips are beginning to ache.

Visit to the Rheumatologist PMR not the culprit
I went downstairs for an x ray that showed three spinal bones are affected , the screaming pain is
fasciitis
, a reason cleverly suggested by PMRO and Dorset Lady sometime ago. What I am getting is referred pain in my hips and legs.

So, got back on it, running well again, did W5R3 again, felt great....and woke up yesterday morning with plantar
fasciitis
in my left foot. So fed up although in a way Iām not surprised 7 weeks of running and no injuries it was bound to happen. So - should I rest completely and for how long?

Meanwhile, back in Eldene...
Also this week I've signed up for the 10k Resolution Run in April for the Stroke Association, which will give me an incentive to start longer runs again, now my plantar
fasciitis
is under control. Who knew doing 3 x 5k's a week would feel like 'goofing off'?!

Might have some RA type condition....feeling a little scared/confused
I keep getting funny pains in both sides of my chest that cone and go and can best be described as lung cramp, and my plantar
fasciitis
has come back in both feet ( i got it for the first time last year but it seemed to go after a while) and my right hand is peculiar.

Muscle wastage?
I have always had "chunky" calves and a few years ago suffering with plantar
fasciitis
in my left foot my right calf became "over developed" as the physio said š due to my limping on it for 12 months.
