Hi, I'm a 50+ lady & I think this is my 3rd attempt at c25k. Did my 1st run on Sunday & really enjoyed it. I tried doing my local park run in the summer, again really enjoyed it but think it was too much too soon. Ended up with shin splints & bad heel pain in my right foot. Think it may be plantar fasciitis. So I have rested up since September. Unfortunately my heel pain feels worse since the run but am hoping to work through it. Any tips anyone?

Have you seen a physio? I think that would be my first move here. There’s exercises that help, but it would be good to know the extent of the issue as some may not suit you straight away and there could be others that will speed your recovery.
