Is it a waste?
How do you know when you stop making progress? If i keep going to these group therapy sessions and hanging out with my family, but have my head ducking down, into my phone or look at the ground to avoid social interactions....does it still count as a visit? i mean i'm not as bad as im describing i do

Major depressive disorder
I was with my ex for 36 years before I foiled for a divorce. We remained close . December 2023 was 1 year for our divorce. He had at least 3 affairs that I proved, I believe he had at least 3 or 4 more that I couldn’t prove. He asked me to move in with him February this year, I did because I thought

Change in inhalers
I'm currently on sertide and being switched over to symbicort. I'm not sure of the dosage etc as need to discuss further with gp. I'm a little concerned as been on seretide for years. When I get switched it triggers flares and I've already had loads of time of work. I work part time. I also think I'm

POST TKN
Hi all.I've had my TKR - 7 weeks ago now. I know it's possibly an individual thing but has anybody any idea as to how long before the affected leg is straight. The bend in my new knee is now at110 degrees and my Consultant is happy with the progress but I forgot to ask about the leg straightening fully

HRT and thyroxine
Morning all, I have been stable on 175ugs of levo for about two years now and I also take HRT. In a couple of months I will be having a THR and have to stop HRT for four weeks. Does anyone know if this will affect how much levo I may need. I know you aren't medical but it would give me an idea as to

Options?
Endometriosis formally diagnosed via laparoscopy 2023, however had no effect and still in chronic pain. Due to other medical issues can’t go on any contraceptives and HRT. Tried the Decapaptyl (GNRH) injections but bleed 24/7 with them?! Endo BGSE specialist has said there are no other options as hysterectomy

combination therapy for ADHD
Does anyone have experience using combination therapy of a stimulant plus a non-stimulant? From what I understand, you take the stimulant in the morning and the non-stimulant in the late afternoon or evening. I recently started using Adderall ir. Having a lot of trouble in the evening and at night

Steve 6 and a half years since heart failure.
My heart problems materialised when my customer said to me you look terrible as I wheeled a barrow up a ramp with heavy concrete blocks. Next morning I was in a ward being told I had heart failure. Was a shock and after 2 years on meds was finally sent in for a aortic root and valve replacement. So

Feeling paranoid
I'm at group therapy and I'm feeling really paranoid right now. More than usual. I'm afraid that someone will notice my paranoia and shame me for it ...thoughts?

Oxygen therapy
I am helping to look after my 88 year old sister at present. She has been prescribed ambulatory oxygen therapy following a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension, I think related to her Protein S Deficiency. She is frail and even the small oxygen cylinders are heavy and difficult for her to use but oxygen

No meds no symptoms
I was told a week ago to stop all my medication due to a chest infection and WBC being too low. I've been off my hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate for over a week now and weirdly my joints and swelling has been the best it's been for over 2 years. I feel perplexed has a 2 year flare just finished

Brain tumors galore, cushings disease
I was diagnosed with a Pituitary Tumour March 2023. It had caused Cushings Disease. Tumour removed 1st June 2023. Very successful and cured Cushings Disease - lots of symptoms resolved eg. lost 25 kilos (4 stone) in weight, quality of skin improved etc. Also discovered two other brain tumours - one

HRT and waiting for scans
Earlier this year in March, I saw my GP to ask about HRT, so blood works were done and anomalies found so went for an ultrasound and found to have Fatty liver and hepatic hemangioma. I'm now waiting for a fibroscsn in December and I'm worried and scared. To help myself I've stopped alcohol completely
