Endometriosis formally diagnosed via laparoscopy 2023, however had no effect and still in chronic pain. Due to other medical issues can’t go on any contraceptives and HRT. Tried the Decapaptyl (GNRH) injections but bleed 24/7 with them?! Endo BGSE specialist has said there are no other options as hysterectomy isn’t considered until over 35 (I’m 27). And I know hysterectomy’s aren’t a cure but they think I might have Adenomyosis as well but said it’s treated same way to endo. I just want relief and I have 0 options. Any advice?

Hi, I didn’t feel any relief for a long time after my laparoscopy. Tried different meds & methods to help control the pain including Prostap injections & HRT for 6 months, which just made me feel rubbish & very emotional. Probably after a year after my laparoscopy, & taking amitriptyline, I have thankfully noticed a positive change to my level of pain.
Maybe worth talking to your GP about amitriptyline? I take 2 tablets every night.
Good luck 🍀 ❤️🩹 x
