Brain tumors galore, cushings disease

I was diagnosed with a Pituitary Tumour March 2023. It had caused Cushings Disease. Tumour removed 1st June 2023. Very successful and cured Cushings Disease - lots of symptoms resolved eg. lost 25 kilos (4 stone) in weight, quality of skin improved etc.

Also discovered two other brain tumours - one at back of head and one at the top of head. After 6 months the tumour at the top of my head has grown by 60% so it has been decided to remove it ASAP. I visit my surgeon here in Switzerland on 10th January 2024 to discuss and schedule the operation. Very scary but I have great confidence in my surgeon and aftercare.

I have been living in Switzerland for 5 years and since being here the health service has been excellent. After 9 months of living here I was diagnosed with a cancerous melanoma on the side of my nose ( the NHS in the UK had not recognised my concern). I have received 5 operations to repair and improve my nose. I am due another to remove cartilage from my ear to place into my nose to support and help my breathing. Whilst here in Switzerland, I have also received medical care to my left leg after an incident with a dog (it took 9 months of regular care and 3 operations to repair). Then I received a left knee replacement, followed by a right hip replacement. I am currently awaiting a right knee replacement which I will hopefully be able to receive after my recovery from the operation to remove my brain tumour.

I f anyone can offer any advice regarding the brain tumour removal and aftercare, I would be very grateful.

Thank you

Regards

Mary Coley
