Bubbles in urine
Hello, Had a quick question about bubbles in urine. Some days my urine is totally clear. Perfect color no bubbles at all. Other days, usually the first/second time I go in the morning it has some bubbles in it. Can what you eat effect that? I eat a low protein diet, no red meat or poultry. Only

Raised Creatinine in urine
Hello everyone I was diagnosed with PMR in January and am now down to 4.5mg prednisolone. Having piled on the pounds at first I have been on a low carb diet since March. I do eat quite a bit of meat and a recent urine dip stick test showed raised creatinine. Could this be caused by high protein/low carb

RA and Microscopic Colitis
I was diagnosed with RA 5 years ago, however I have recently been diagnosed with Microscopic Colitis too! I have also been tested for Coeliac disease and my blood results came back as 0.3u/ml which was the low end of the reference scale (I believe this result is possibly bordering a low immunoglobulin

Happy Cutie Christmas
Hello everyoneJust popping by to wish you all a Happy and Healthy Christmas as possible. Thought i'd show you these cute 'woolly jumpers' as their newborn lambs on a farm in Surrey. Early ones hence the pullovers!. Its a lovely thought though that Spring is soon as we've just had the shortest day.

belated phone call
I wrote that I had AskMy GP a few days ago. my GP had asked me to let her know if I was having a flare. I had said my hips were painful and it was difficult to get up stairs. I sent a message via AMGp. The reply came that I would be contacted by a clinician later in the day. The call never happened

2nd biopsy, just started on prednisolone. Dietary help pls.
So my doctor had just started me on 25mg of prednisolone indefinitely due to the inflammation (in my kidneys?) as a result of my igA nephropathy acting more aggressively on my body. I am taking effort to abide by a low protein diet at 0.8g/protein/kg body weight per day. Aside from feeling very hungry

Serum vs. tissue T3 levels
My thanks to DippyDame and others for your cogent analyses of serum T3 levels vs. tissue T3 levels. I have been self-dosing T3 for many years (stumbled upon its existence accidentally on an Internet website; a subsequent query, "Dosing T3," led me to Paul Robinson's most valuable books. Liothyronine over or under.
Is it possible that too much liothyronine may stall weight loss please. I have been on liothyronine only 60mcg daily for at least ten years it was 80 before that. I suffered two mini strokes in July and was given a blood thinner told to stay active and lose weight and despite strict low carb walking

LCHF/Keto junk food
Hi all. How's everyone doing? Not normally one for any processed food at all, I have been uncharacteristically buying some keto "junk food" recently. This (ridiculously expensive!!) loaf of keto bread, made mainly of almonds and eggs, is actually really good, and very low carb at 3.5g per 100g.

My wife of 40 years and APS
I strongly believe in doing everything to avoid inflammation generally. Stop all processed foods, no seed oils and restrict or complete avoid grains (wheat, rice, corn etc) and go on a low carbohydrate diet. We all need to have a healthy glycocalyx which is the slimy lining of our blood vessels. look
