Gall bladder problems
An ultrasound recently revealed a cluster of small gallstones and non alcoholic fatty liver. Everything else was normal. I had the ultrasound as I had tender upper abdomen. I don't have painful attacks just a tender feeling. Nuisance value really. Has anyone been able to get rid of gallstones naturally

Human Betaretrovirus and PBC - can antiretrovirals fix us?
Hello all What do people think please about the research on PBC as an infectious disease and the potential of antiretroviral drugs? There was a flurry of reports back in 2015/6 identifying persistent betaretrovirus in people with PBC and then some small clinical trials of antiretroviral drugs.

Relief of Myofascial pain at last.
Good afternoon. With my recent increase of steroids (December) the #Myofascial pain in my right shoulder blade had reared it's ugly head (I think it had diminished on 8mg). It's been around throughout my 6 year journey and now I can acknowledge what a pain in the neck it has been. HAS been! I am not

A catch up and regroup.
Hello lovely people, I was just recounting and filling in the time I've been away from this site - the absence due to my grandmothers passing - and it was becoming a bit of a novel, recounting the day to day details of the hospital etc so have decided to not post it as it may be triggering for others

Rectocele causing wind?
I was diagnosed with a "small" rectocele about 12 months ago when I was having a proctogram to investigate causes of obstructed defecation. In addition to the inability to pass motions effectively I get lots of wind - despite being very careful about how and what I eat. I asked a bowel nurse if the

Anyone had IgG food intolerance tested and successfully eliminated the offenders?
I know there's questions regarding the accuracy of IgG food testing but I had the test done out of interest because I've been considering going dairy free and/or gluten free. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in Oct 2012 but actually believe my issues were due to poor T4>T3 conversion. I'm waiting to

Bubbles in urine
Hello, Had a quick question about bubbles in urine. Some days my urine is totally clear. Perfect color no bubbles at all. Other days, usually the first/second time I go in the morning it has some bubbles in it. Can what you eat effect that? I eat a low protein diet, no red meat or poultry. Only

Raised Creatinine in urine
Hello everyone I was diagnosed with PMR in January and am now down to 4.5mg prednisolone. Having piled on the pounds at first I have been on a low carb diet since March. I do eat quite a bit of meat and a recent urine dip stick test showed raised creatinine. Could this be caused by high protein/low carb
