my GP had asked me to let her know if I was having a flare. I had said my hips were painful and it was difficult to get up stairs. I sent a message via AMGp. The reply came that I would be contacted by a clinician later in the day. The call never happened. A few days later I was contacted by the surgery to say an Ultra Sound was being booked.
Has been booked for a weeks time for an Abdomen scan. Can this be right.
I haven’t upped the Pred as was thinking she was going to tell me what to do 🤣😂🤣😂
By the way Ask My GP is how we have to book appointments with our surgery. No phone in appointments.

I have contacted surgery. It isn’t a mistake. Apparently it is a follow up from anUSS I had a year ago. The ? Of the AskMyGP and hip problem hasn’t been sorted. What a muddle! 😊

Happy new year .xx
A friend here in the north of Italy is of the opinion you shouldn't go for scans and stuff - they always find something wrong! Strangely, her daughter is a doctor ...
Several surgeries are starting to use AskMyGP if you want a reply that day rather than phone calls, often during certain hours in the morning. They have to offer a phone service as some people don’t have computers or smart phones. Can you go on-line to check your notes? If so that should give you some information re your appointment.
Sounds like potentially crossed lines!!! My Pain Lady was saying today that low back pain can originate from hip problems - but that is different again! It isn't good enough - if they choose the wrong imaging modality it is an awful waste of time and money ...
