Lyme disease-help groups?
Hi, I know there are quite a few folk on here who suffer with Lymes Disease and I was wondering if there is a forum on health unlocked specifically for sufferers or any other online help groups? I'm not asking for myself but for a family member. Thanks in advance Nat x

Still wondering what to do ?
I continue to have abscesses, respiratory infection and UTI. My GP expects me to go see him ? Why travel three hours for him to order a urine test? If last sample was contaminated why do they just not repeat the stupid test. It is all about billing. He does not get paid to order test over the phone.

Pain medication for prostate cancer that has spread only to the bones. Is opiate pain medication always necessary?
Hello, My brother is on oxycontin for pain medication. I believe at this time he is addicted and I also believe that his pain level does not warrant oxycontin. Everyone assumes that because the cancer has spread that he needs this medicine. At one time he did, got palliative radiation and that greatly

Hello everyone, I've had my 2nd appt with the rheumy. On the plus side I have not been dismissed by her, on the minus side, I am no nearer to finding out what is causing the symptoms... At my first appointment, liver function, FBC bloods taken, all fine. X-rays done as many of my symptoms are indicative

Anyone with cellulitis does your cellulitis and/or lymphoedema and/or Vasculitis symptoms change throughout day/night and from day-to-day?
hi anyone with cellulitis - I have burning hot thighs, knees, hips, under the breasts/lower back mainly when I lye/sit down in the eve. When i'm walking about through the day it's not so bad. I don't actually have a definite diagnoses as my GP's are indifferent and focus more on saying I'm in the change

Time for the UK to wake up to chronic illnesses that cause thyroid and endocrine dysfunction
There are at least 150 symptoms of Lyme Disease including thyroid and endocrine dysfunction. The UK is still in the dark ages when it comes to recognition of this chronic illness as well as other chronic bacterial, viral and mycotoxin illnesses that are causing severe illness and even death in the UK

I was on ibrutinib for 3 years. Other than a few side effects at the beginning, such as hair loss, joint pain, eeak nails, I successfully took 4 pills a day. Agter being off due to severe GI issues at the end, I started experiencing joint and muscle pain. This has continued to worsen since I was taken

Measles rash after the MMR vaccine
My little boy has got the measles type rash after the MMR vaccine. It's all over his body and he's had it since Saturday. Has anyone else experienced this and know how long it stays for? He's also vomited twice in the pass 12 hours but I'm assuming this is a bug and not connected. Thanks
