Chicken pox in school again but now using Cimzia- what to do?
Hi peeps- hope you're feeling the weekend? It looks like a sunny day here in the SE of England 😎 I have posted before about chicken pox (or pops as it's usually referred to in my workplace) but that was before Cimzia was added to my arsenal of meds. I was told by my nurse to be very aware of the virus

NSAIDS risk.
Not to frighten anyone, but my daughter sent this link. We rarely use NSAIDS, but my husband has metabolic syndrome, which increases his risk of heart attack. I don't think this is terribly new news, but something to consider. http://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/heart-attack-risk-painkillers-starts-within-week-study-n756991

Prednisolone 'come down' vs flare?
Hi everyone, Just before Christmas, I experienced a bad bout of costochondritis, which ended up with me being off sick from work for a few weeks. My regular rheumy refused to give me steroids, saying that because I'd never had them before there was no evidence they would work for me (?!?!?), so I had

Midfoot fusion
Anyone have success with Midfoot fusion? I have severe midfoot arthritis in both feet, and am in severe pain with every step. I have tried orthotics, cortisone shots, cold laser, NSAIDS, and wearing an AFO Brace.

Hi, I'm in the process of confirming this diagnosis. The first rheumatologist, during yearly visits, has said no, no, yes, and now back to no. I have been told to take Tylenol Arthritis, after finding that I was not able to continue the two different NSAIDs that he had originally prescribed (bleeding

3 yr old post meningitis
My son is 3 years old now. He had pneumococcal meningitis at the age of 1 and had 3 hours of seizures. He had issues with his heart functioning and struggled a lot to survive. He was also operated with a VP shunt for hydrocephalus which he acquired because of meningitis. But the first surgery was a failure

Health Anxiety
I have had an itchy lipline and a rash under my bottom lip and have convinced my Brian that I have oral herpes. I literally went to the doctor twice to make sure it's not that and they say it isn't but I keep believing I do. I have no cold sores at all. My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years
