Hi All you lovely Luppy's. I am curious to know if anyone else suffers with coldsores? For about 2 months now I have had one coldsore after another on my face, lips and chin. I have always been prone to them so I am careful not to touch them, change towels, etc. But i just seem to have them all the time

Hello all, Out of curiosity, does anyone know if there's an actual definitive test for Lyme disease? Thank you.

Request for shared experience - brain abscess
I am recovering from a brain abscess and wonder if anyone would share what the recovery process was like for them if possible. I am tremendously tired and often have head pain and wonder if this is normal.

Viral Meningitis Recovery
Dear all I would really appreciate some advice & would love to hear what has worked for other people in their recovery from viral meningitis? I ended up in hospital last July (9 months ago today) for 4 days with what the neurologist later told me was a bad case of viral meningitis. Since then I have

Ha! And ha,ha! And Ha,ha,ha!
When I was a little boy, my mum was bent on yoga. It was the fashion then. I remember she wanted me to do some, because a friend of hers told her I should breathe with my mouth shut! I just wouldn’t do it (I do now!) So we both did the yogic breathing. Mum had this book, health with yoga by Selvarajan

Chicken Pox and PMR/GCA
I definitely thought I was too old to have chicken pox. Unfortunately my nephews visited during the infectious period and I was unlucky to get it. I felt as though I had the flue for a few days, and then spots on my thighs, which I thought was caused by a steroid cream I was using for a wound on my

MenB Vaccine to be introduced.
Finally, the Meningitis B vaccine will be available for free on the NHS as part of the childhood immunisation programme. It comes after we part funded the research which led to development of the jab and after years of tireless campaigning from our team and you, our supporters. We know that this

OA Knees
After 3 years of PMR, I was diagnosed with OA( x-ray and MRI) in my right knee in December. The pain was awful but a cortisone shot made me feel vaguely human again, albeit with limited mobility still. That shot is now wearing off and , surprise surprise, my other knee is now playing up and very painful

Has anyone else had recurrent bacterial meningitis?
Hi, I have just recovered from my 4th bout of bacterial meningitis over the past 15 years. I had pneumococcal meningitis in 2001, 2010 (while 28 weeks pregnant), 2012 (while 11 weeks pregnant), and again this past February 2015- this time it was haemophilus meningitis. I am obviously very lucky to be
