Bacterial meningitis

Hi my Granddaughter had Bacterial meningitis last June she is still suffering with very painful bottom of her feet and finds it difficult to walk at times., any ideas, she is 20years.

Wondering how long your granddaughter was in hospital and how very seriously ill she was with the bacterial meningitis. It sounds like she has perhaps had some nerve damage to the soles of the feet although that I think is more likely with Meningococcal Meningitis & Septicaemia. Is she still under any hospital specialists?
