boils and lupus
Hi all, Still fighting to get any support even though it has been confirmed I have lupus! I now have started to get giant boils in my groin and armpit. Does anyone else get these? Sorry about the graphic image 😞 I am in so much pain and all my neck glands are up too.

I have Inflammatory Polyarthropathy and O A in right knee. I have recently been put on MTX 17.5, 8 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago I had a stiff neck flare and got a steroid shot, 6 day dose pak, and was put on prednisone 5 mg daily to ward off flares. The neck pain resolved quickly. Last week My left wrist

Hello All! I am writing to ask about the received wisdom of NSAIDs in this group... I have wicked foot and Achilles problems and it is possible an NSAID would be helpful. But apparently some are linked with a 76% higher probability of having Afib! A cursory glance at google tells me that Naproxen

Raised rash
I’m sorry that I come and go on this site. A lot has been going on. Family health stuff. I was previously on Trelegy and I thought it was wonderful but I did get some indigestion/ reflux and the specialist said Trelegy was a bit stronger than I probably needed and changed my puffer to Flutiform. Cellulitis in foot and hands, leading to dramatic skin changes all over my body
I have primary lymphoedema in my left foot which has been well controlled through compression and daily creaming of the affected area. Despite showing no signs of any lesion I developed cellulitis which went un-diagnosed for a week or so as I was unaware of what it was. My foot and ankle were very swollen

Old Knee Injury
5 years ago I sprained my knee and from then on have had swelling and pain….it seemed to trigger my RA. At that time after about 9 months I had an mri which showed a bit of damage and a maniacal tear. The advice then was rest, nsaids etc and things will improve. Then time passes and you get used

Went from stage 3b to stage 2
Hi, everyone! I have wonderful news. In Oct 2022, my gfr was 42, stage 3b. I tweaked my diet, made sure I was hydrated, stayed away from NSAIDS, only took stomach meds as needed, and started walking for exercise. I had another physical yesterday and today my results were posted to my portal. My

Ringworm skin problems
I have been suffering from ringworm for about a year. They are mostly near the side of the cheek, near the beard and near the ear. I have used many medicines and creams, but when I stop the medicine, it comes out again. How to stop at once?

Gut is now at metaplasia stage and it's irreversible. Need advice, friends.
Hello, It has been some time since I last wrote so I will refresh your memories a bit. In a nutshell, I was diagnosed with autoimmune atrophic gastritis two years ago which caused PA and b12 deficiency. I take 1000 mcg B12 cyanocobalamin once daily but sometimes twice if I'm feeling poorly at the end

I have had radiation for a painful Met a L5----
I expect the pain to gone in 2-4 weeks-- Can I do BAT if I don't presently have painful bone mets? Also Hopkins say the flare pain lasts only a week. Preloading and continuing with Nsaids should help the inflammatory response responsible for the flair pain. Thoughts much appreciated,Ed

cellulitis
I have cellulitis in my right arm, post operative lymphoedema ( 9 years ago) first time. Swelling, heaviness and pain don’t seem to be getting any better after a week of antibiotic. Wondered if there is anything else I can do to get rid of it. Awaiting an appointment with the clinic but no idea when

Motrin
So I had oral surgery, and the dentist gave me prescription for Motrin 800 mg. I know usually NSAIDs are not good for us. My kidney dr never told me I could not take it, but now I’m nervous. I have stage 3, just wondering if what you’ve heard from your physician about taking Motrin after surgery for

Rebound headaches?
I wrote over the weekend about the constant dull headaches I’ve been getting for 2 weeks. Tylenol worked for only a couple of hours and it would come right back. I had blood work done yesterday and everything was normal. Doctor thinks I might be having rebound headaches from the Tylenol I’ve been taking
