Diarrhoea

I’ve had increasing bouts of stomach cramps at night followed by diarrhoea instead including some blood. I can’t speak or see doctor straight away as I’m away. I’ve stopped taking the omaprezole until I can get a poss lower dose or nothing at all.

Can anyone answer this : is diarrhoea a symptom of MSA ? I have read that constipation is a symptom. My husband seems to get diarrhoea out of nowhere. Even before he’s really eaton much.

I’m wondering if anyone else has this type of diarrhoea. I might start off with a semi formed BM because I’ve taken something to slow transit time and add some bulk. Then before I can even leave the bathroom I’ll get the urge to go again but it’s runnier. Then same thing again but runnier.

I do have diverticulosis & occasionally I get overflow diarrhoea. Today I have experienced the worse I have had. I took a fybrogel last night. This morning for two hours I have had severe cramping & pain, which made me feel I was going to pass out. All I was passing was watery d.

From last week I’ve had chronic diarrhoea and stomach cramps. Literally as soon as I eat they come on and I go again. Gp has said it would be nothing to do with tapering. Also said I didn’t need to add more steroids as my body would have absorbed them anyway.

Sorry if you’re eating your dinner but anyone had diarrhoea after taking Flecainide for first time or indeed not first time? I asked cardiologist but he said it was more likely an upset stomach.

For the last 4 days I have been getting stomach cramps, and my stomach has been doing a lot of churning noises, which lead to really really bad gas and diarrhoea! It’s been 4 days in a row now, at night time I get the cramps and wake needing to go to the toilet multiple times.

Would like to ask if switching from IBS c to IBS d is common. I’ve been trying to manage constipation for 40 years. I’m used to that.Yesterday’s urgency was really anxiety provoking for me. Thank you for reading.

Hi, I've had IBS on and off. Used to have a crap diet to be honest, of takeaways. Recently got a flare up. I can't eat much per day and get cramps, bloating and then need to go. Usually brown poo, sometimes but when I wipe it's mainly yellow. Used to have mushy stools - now mainly watery. The anxiety

Since my transplant in March 2022 I’ve had I’d say 99% loose stalls - diarrhoea. I’ve had numerous scans showing no IBS or IBD but I do have diverticulitis.

Also the side effects worry me, especially diarrhoea - I have a history of this but had got it down to an occasional bout only. However after my second dose this morning I was afflicted while out shopping and became so sore that I bled. Any advice please?

last night I had awful stomach cramps, nausea and diarrhoea that lasted all night and into today and felt quite weak. I am wondering what people take to help with this. Thank you for any help

I started them but had terrible diarrhoea so stopped them. I am nervous about re-starting them. Thanks

I started having acute diarrhoea 12 days ago that won’t go away and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? Poo samples are negative to infection, loperamide is not working and despite repeated visits to GP they don’t seem to have any ideas about what’s going on.

I just put most of the following in my profile but seems useful for this post: PMR diagnosed Feb 2018. Started pred 15mg x 4 weeks, 12.5mg x 2 weeks, then 1mg taper, 10mg thru 5mg every 4 weeks. Had various aches and pains throughout, not just the typical PMR pain. Fatigue, back pain 2 days after 4.5mg

Did anyone else have diarrhoea,while taking paxlovid,no warning and very loose,sorry for being so expletive,it's so horrible l am thinking of stopping them.

Anyone know if I can take anti diarrhoea meds alongside it please?

I had my gallbladder out in July 2023 ever since then I've had problems diagnosed with divirticulitis and severe ibs with diarrhoea and immflammation in my bowel.I would like to know if anybody else has had same trouble after gallbladder removal

I have recently found out I could have some problems with low bile production. I have had loose bowel for many years, but once I stopped PPIs last Christmas, which I had been on for 20 years, and started goats milk kefir and probiotics, my bowel movements got so much better. I was only having one visit

I'm taking 3 x 500mg per day and TMI but I have terrible wind/diarrhoea and bloating. Thanks!
