Diarrhoea cefalexin

I've been prescribed Cefalexin for uti but am having awful diarrhoea. Has anyone had this problem with this antibiotic?

Yes, I was recently put on it to help with Diverticulitis and ended up running to the loo 5-7 times a day, after 3 days I stopped taking it and on the 4th day was admitted to hospital with possible flair up or what was thot to be an appendisitise, turned out it was my IBS..but I'm no longer on the Cefalexin and am awaiting more tests.It's not always suitable for some so if your having problems still, talk to your doctor.good luck & best wishes in your recovery.🙂
