Hi, I started on 25 mg Parma mercury on Tuesday , have now got diarrhoea. No trouble with lactose . Constipation for long time before this . Feeling brighter in myself and sleeping better . Surely it can’t be doing anything yet ?

Could it be the acacia in the tablets that isn't agreeing with you? Thinking about it I became dairy intolerant after starting on Levothyroxine 🫤 it's possible that it switches off the stomachs ability to create lactase

You could request a swap to Wockhardt to avoid acacia or Vencamil to avoid both

I am convinced that lactose and levothyroxine somehow cause issues, at least in some people, even when they are otherwise lactose tolerant.

I suspect it is a specific interaction of some sort.
