Methylation - was gobblydegook but now I'm understanding it
When I had my legally required
counselling
with the result of my DIO2 gene test, the counsellor talked at great length about Methylation & she was recommending I take a test to check my methylation.

Beat me up with a very big stick? No thanks, I'll do it myself.
But getting a little emotional support or
counselling
can go a long way to finding a self acceptance that we are doing, or did, was all we could do and that might not be quite as good as the next person. It might also be better than others could have done.

People have no idea...
Today I’ve just about had it. I’m physically and mentally wrecked from dealing with mom and her condition. Her behavior is so draining, it literally sucks the life out of me. And yet, I feel guilty for having these thoughts because she is the one with the illness. Though I don’t actively take care

ONLY 10% of NON-DIALYSIS KIDNEY PATIENTS EVER SEE A DIETITIAN.
This article arrived in my mailbox yesterday but I wasn't able to get to it until today. I thought the information was interesting and decided to share it. It came in as part of a newsletter from the American Association of Kidney Patients www.aakp.org August 1, 2018, Loyola University Health System

I'm 21 years old and I feel like my anxiety is spiraling out of control. I have suffered with anxiety for 40 years and been on countless meds, had

and CBT. For the past 5 years I have struggled along but so much is happening in my life at the moment I have given in and am on my second week of Escitalopram.

Not your place to say
Today I went to the doctor cause I wasn't officially diagnosed with anxiety. The doctor told me she wanted to me to go to counseling because it would benefit me. I dont want to go. I'm one of those people that hate asking for help and hate to talk to other people about my problems. I dont want people

Medical conditions on your profile, why can't you log non medication treatments you have used?
Would have thought it would have been helpful on the profile to show treatments like CBT, meditation, acupuncture,
counselling
, etc Seems to be set up only for medication treatments. If there is a way to enter non medicated treatments I would be interested to hear.

Need Advice
If anyone is listening I could use some advice. I have suffered from anxiety and depression for over 20 years. Most of my issues can be attributed to my work history. I am a perfectionist and have a difficult time dealing with mistakes and negative feedback. I currently work at a job that I struggle

I’m currently going to counseling trying to find away out of the dark places. I’m functioning and smile and do all my daily things but then there are days when i shut down. Like the pretending to function has worn me out. I feel a lot of times I’m just feeling sorry for myself wishing things were

NHS counselling, first-hand opinions?
Hello everyone. To cut a long story short, one month ago, I had one tube removed and I've been told the other is blocked and badly damaged, making me infertile beyond doubts. Today I was at the GP and I overheard a young lady saying to the nurse at the reception, with a super joyful voice, that she was
