Hi Has anyone ever had preconception counselling and if so, what exactly does it entail? I had PP last year with my first baby and we’re hoping to start trying for another sometime soon.

Ive had some experience with NHS counselling which I went to a good few years back.

I was left with the impression that I had overstepped some boundary for failing to find the counselling offered useful.

Hi, i am still suffering with post ICU delirium images from July 2024 (2 week intubation) and Oct 2024 (2.5 days intubated) , I am waiting for counselling but had a call yesterday from the ICU checking in how I am , while my health has improved I still continue to have random flashbacks / images popping

I cant find anyone to help me with counselling etc as the support network here in n ireland is non existent!would love to hear peoples experiences!

I have accessed services to start my healing and counselling. I am now back at work on a regular scheduled phased return for the next month. Onwards and upwards 🙌

Has anyone used counselling before the received donor eggs. I am waiting for FET and unsure if I need counselling, don't know how I feel apart from very emotional.

Can anyone tell me what IVF counselling is like that is offered by NHS? What does it involve? And did it help? Ive had two failed rounds of IVF so far and have one more chance which I will do probably in October.

In the counselling session that I received follow our recent failed cycles it was also suggested by the clinic counsellor that my partner may be on ASD.

But I have tried counselling and I am on tablets, yet it hasn't changed how I feel in these social groups.

I am abroad in a non English speaking country, but looking for a telephone or remote counselling service to help with post natel depression. I understand recommendations should be DM only but would appreciate suggestions to get someone to talk too quickly.

If anyone tried CBT or other counselling, would be great if you could share your experience. Thanks everyone!

I had my counselling for a CRT-d implant this week and I’m anxious and not sleeping much. Apparently it won’t help me with my AFib symptoms and I won’t feel any better when it’s been wired in than I do now?

I’ve got a counselling session soon but it scares me. I’ve been honest but my wife is understandably upset and couldn’t cope with this again. if anyone has any words of wisdom please share. thanks for reading.

I'm having cbt and counselling but nothing is helping. I can't go on much longer being like this, distraught every time I find a bruise or cracked skin or a mark on my body. I immediately think that's it, cancer. It's getting worse as I'm aging all I want to do is curl up and never wake up.

My option is finding someone off the BACP counselling list, who has tinnitus listed under their areas of experience, and seeing if they are recognised by my insurer or going with the pre-approved organisation as above.

I've tried (and still do) meditation, hypnotherapy, acupuncture and had counselling. Really I'm wondering if medication is my only option left and if anyone has any experiences of this, I'd be grateful to hear. I don't particularly want to take an anti depressant but I can't go on like this.
