How is colitis diagnosed? If its a colonoscopy I'm not sure I can face it!
I do seem to have all the symptoms of
colitis
, and my thyroid problem is auto immune, so I guess there may be a link.

Really would like some advice if possible
My joint pain could be early onset of arthiritis, my eye pain and pupil problem could be
colitis
or strain, my mouth ulcers could be run down or perhaps
colitis
& my lower vaginal ulcers now could be herpes. Thank you for taking the time to read this ramble and what do you guys think?

Recovered from the ankle strain and first run in 10 days - Steady 5km - 29:45
Hi all, I hurt my ankle 10 days ago when I got a 5km PB at Barking Parkrun. I decided to rest until the pain in the ankle was completely gone before I ran again. So today I first ran W3R3 with my wife, we ran 3km together. Once my wife finished she went home and I began a 5km. My aim was to do it

I went to see the locum dr on Wednesday as I felt in need of reassurance and ended up with two new medicines
He told me I had a heart murmur and said I should try another water tablet and also another go at another heart medicine. The water tablet is Natrilix and the other one is Doxazosin. The Natrilix is slow release and works all day, I've to wait three days before starting the Doxazosin. Luckily I'm

Was diagnosed with RA and ulcerative colitis two years ago. Have been on MTX for RA and Asacol for UC. I have been having problems with my
stomach and they now tell me it is no UC but Crohns and have now been told I can no longer have MTX but need to go on Hurmira as the Crohns has caused fistulas in my bowl. They tell me that Humira will treat both the RA and Crohns but have read about Humira and am concerned with some of the side effects

How far Glucosamine is helpful for human beings treating Firbromyalgia/Arthritis?
Other stipulations: different must haves for which Glucosamine is used come with rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel illness (Crohn's illness and ulcerative
colitis
), power venous insufficiency, and pores and skin situations, although further proof is required.

My 9yr old son was diagnosed with sclerosing cholangitis and ulcerative cholangitis last month and we don't know what quite to expect.
He went from 4.5 stone down to about 3stone in 6 months and has just been release from the RVI newcastle after having a really bad flare up. Can anyone shed a little light on what we should expect and future things to come. He's also just started a 3 months course of steroids alongside his normal medication

What are the side effects of Golimumab when using with or after treatment of Methotrexate (injected) and Hydroxycholoroquine?
I have been having persistent flare-ups after 2 years of weekly self-injected 25mg of Methotrexate and daily Hydroxycholoroquine tablets. I used to take steroid tablets to assist me during these flare ups (usually left knee and wrists) but they have now lost their impact and in-joint steroidal injections
