Can someone with ulcerative colitis and with a weakened immune system be compromised further living in accommodation with black mold?

Yes and it sounds like condensation . Houses are becoming so well sealed now with double glazing draft excluders blocked chimneys covered air bricks that condensation and mould growth round windows is common . So open trickle vents and windows when possible to aid air circulation to let moist warm air out and cooler drier air in . You can find a mile if info on this on the net . Cheers

I agree with Huston, sounds like condensation. I would suggest as well as ventilation you should wash the mould growth with a bleach solution. you may also wish to invest in a de-humidifier.

Ta my lovely - luckily it's my sons problem & not mine x I did suggest mushrooms on toast but he didn't reply x ann
