Just had my second Prolia shot less than two weeks ago. A few days ago I noticed thick hard skin on a few knuckles...Scleroderma?
Am suspecting that the Prolia has started Scleroderma, which I have never had before. Will be talking to my rheumatologist soon. Anyone else have it start up after beginning Prolia? My Raynaud's has been much worse this year, as well.

Still being tested for PBC-scared it could be PSC instead.
I'm female, I don't have Ulcerative
Colitis
or another other inflammatory bowel disease, which also seems to be a marker for this I know PSC is more severe than PBC and I am seriously starting to freak myself out about this.

What would cause stoma sensitivity and pain that feels like you've been punched in the stomach? The stoma is also very rigid and rubbery.
I am a 26 year old that was diagnosed with ulcerative
colitis
at 1.5 years due to malnutrition and neglect. I had to have a temporary ileostomy put in at the age of 3 and a permanent ileostomy put in at the age of 5 that included the total removal of my large intestine and rectum.

Has anyone tried echinacea?
Hello all I've been on prednisolone for two and a half years now and I guess my immune system is compromised as I'm getting frequent recurrent UTIs. I was going to try echinacea and cat's claw to try and boost my immune system but came across a drug interaction with echinacea and pred. when I googled

And new research suggests FMT might also offer cures for not just IBS,
colitis
, constipation and colonic ulcers – but also a growing number of neurological and auto-immune conditions such as Parkinson's.

Steroid Infusions - Helpful?
Hi, My wife has a number of auto-immune problems (
colitis
/crones, thyroid, arthritis, graves, etc), although not diagnosed as lupus. She's having a steroid infusion today to help sort a bad flare up she's been having in her hands. Has anyone had any experience with this treatment before?

How do people manage after having a total thyroidectomy with regards to ensuring enough calcium is being absorbed and not gaining weight.
Weight fluctuates except when I went on a strict diet to cure
colitis
(succesfully) I lost 2st which was too much for me to lose. Since regained it and could do with losing 1 st. now. However I have been messed about with the dosage prescribed.

We all know someone with IBS - which is just that - a syndrome - or
Colitis
- and I myself have Crohns - and so it goes on .... I recently watched an on-line conference - The Gluten Summit - A Grain of Truth - 29 experts from around the world talking about gluten and its effects on the body.

Hi, I am also new to this website. 12 years ago I was diagnosed with lupus but now, after a 10 minute consultation with a rheumatologist, he
I also have collagenous
colitis
and was prescribed Nortriptyline 20 mg (to be taken at night). My question is: this rheumatologist has decided to change my medication to Pregabalin 50 mg to be taken 3 times daily.
