Hi retep, I came across this community by accident really and just read your post. I was born with Hirchsprungs Disease and and had to have a colostomy at the age of about 7 years old. I only had this for about a year and then had a reversal. When I was about 17 years old I started to show the same symptoms again which resulted in me being very poorly. This happened a number of times over the coming years which resulted in me having a total colectomy (removal of my colon) and a good part of my small intestine was also removed. Reaching the age of (approx) 25 years I was poorly again and was hoping to go in and have a iliostomy - things didn't go to plan and I ended up in intensive care - so didn't have the full operation as planned. However, I have been as right as rain since without any complaints :-)

I am now 41 years young and living life to the full :-)

I hope all is going okay with yourself now and you are in tip top condition :-)

Take Care
