She also has schlerosis in her back and ulcerative
colitis
. We believe she has had RA since she was at least 26 yrs old. We saw her Rheumy doctor yesterday and he wants to start her on Humira right away.

Holistic treatment
I ended up in hospital, had a blood transfusion and a diagnosis of ulcerative
colitis
. I spent a good few years on steroids for the
colitis
, when I became worse still.

Vomited blood- panicking
I am having a colonoscopy soon to look for an IBD (Chrons or Ilcerative
Colitis
etc) and also am waiting for a diagnostic laparoscopy for endo. I do not know definitely if I have any of these conditions or if they could cause this to happen and am really panicking.

Ulcerative colitis/arthritis - methotrexate
I have had ulcerative
colitis
for 22 years and have now developed arthritis. Am starting methotrexate 10mg weekly and am worried about this drug but understand I need to take it. The pain from the arthritis is very restrictive and I have a physically demanding job.

PA and Ulcerative colitis
Still have some testing to do, but doc says ulcerative
colitis
with infection from PA. Whew! So relieved. To update my leg situation, my orthopaedic oncologist needs to take 3 more inches off my leg. I'm really sad about this, but will be the only way I have a chance to walk.

Do not know whether methotrexate would be better for me than prednisolone
I have a history of oesophageal reflux since2001 but the medication (ranitidine and Omeprazole) led to collagenous
colitis
in 2014 so I had to discontinue the medication. In 2017 I was diagnosed with hiatus hernia.

ATN Recovery?
Hi everyone, My kidney biopsy showed the cause of my decreasing kidney function to be from acute tubular necrosis (ATN), likely due to my Ulcerative
Colitis
medications. Since I’ve stopped/switched med’s I’ve seen my GFR go from 19 to 27. Does anyone have experience with ATN?

I completed my 5k in November and loved the training and the euphoria of actually doing 5k Since then I have seriously lost my mojo....i just can't sustain a run at all ....its causing so much negativity and therefore breeding more negativity that I feel like I'm in an ever decreasing circle. Salazopyrin
Hi all! I have RA and was diagnosed in 2005. I have been taking salazopyrin for the last 6months and I’m feeling fairly good on it. 😀😀😀. Does anyone know if I need to stop taking it when taking an antibiotic.

Can endo return on progesterone mini pill?
back to the doc, bloods were fine, 1 urine sample came back with raised white blood cells but rest were fine, ultrasound showed bowel wall thickening but sigmoidoscopy was fine, 1 biopsy showed inflammatory markers but rest were fine so they said it wasn't conclusive to a kidney problem nor Crohn's or

Itching/pursitis
I have a history of ulcerative
colitis
, but was lucky enough to go into remission for the past 15 years. Prior to this event my liver functions have been normal and the only hint of a problem was some scarring of the biliary ducts within the liver. My main bile duct is fine.

Any advice for someone new to taking Thyroid-s and getting dreadful stomach cramps!
I was taking the NDT on an empty stomach and I already have
colitis
. I have come off the NDT until the stomach recovers. Does anyone know what this reaction is?

Lupus and Ulcerative colitis
My lupus diagnosis was about 4 yrs. Ago. When I was 22 ...57 now...i was in and out of hospital with major surgeries for UC. The large intestine was completely ulcerated and eventually was removed. Thank God for small intestines! This proved a cure for the UC but as I look back, i have had lupus symptoms
