Hi all, I have a very complicated health history. I have EDS, sjogrens, colitis and and spondylitis, lots of neuro problems like pots and syncope.
When I first got very ill 4 years ago after birth of my son I remember the exact day it happened I developed palpitations, severe anxiety attacks, depression, constant need for toilet that was awful, loss of appetite yet even when eating weight was dropping off at rapid rate. This then turned into loss of muscle mass and I now have significant loss of muscle tone. All neuro tests are clear on that and I am told it is def not a neuro muscular thing. I'm still not convinced.
Anyway someone finally decided to take this seriously and I recently had a PET scan. I could not believe with all my problems it didn't show anything, apart from some activity over the thyroid. My throat has always been a problem and my immune system goes right for the area over the Adams apple often causing agonising swelling and swallowing problems amongst over things. I'm referred to see an endo next week. They've done bloods but I noticed they only took one TH rest and I understand there are plenty that could be done. Is it important to push for a biopsy? For some reason bloods never show anything for me even though I'm being eaten alive. I'e
