Vomited blood- panicking

Hi,

I went out Saturday night drinking (had the same as I usually do and had been a couple weeks since last drink) and spent hours this morning vomiting and have had bad stomach pain all day (this is highly unusual for me as I never get hangovers and vomit once maximum after drinking). I just went to clean out the basin I was sick into and have seen streaks and clots of dark red blood in the vomit.

I am having a colonoscopy soon to look for an IBD (Chrons or Ilcerative Colitis etc) and also am waiting for a diagnostic laparoscopy for endo. I do not know definitely if I have any of these conditions or if they could cause this to happen and am really panicking.

As it’s been many hours since I vomited but am still in some pain I don’t know if I should do anything or what to do.

Any advice or thoughts would be really appreciated as I am rather worried/upset xx

I'm so sorry to hear you're having a horrible time. Can you call 111 for advice to see if you need to see gp/emergency? X
