How long does it take before chest muscle pain stops?
I went into
cardiac
arrest
for 12 mins I believe. The wonderful team that bought me back accidently broke my left rib. A very small price to pay for me. I got plenty of pain relief in ITU and cardiac ward. I saw dogs and cats, on patients beds.

What to expect after SVT ablation
Good Morning! I am new here but I underwent a cardiac ablation for an SVT on this past Friday the 27th. To give you some background, I was born with Congenitally Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries. In other words my lower heart chamber is completely reversed. I also have situs inversus, a

Surgery for joints
I have had numerous surgeryson on my spine, many joints pinned and some replaced. Does anyone suffer the same problems. I'm in a bad way at present with a fractured sacrum. Only treatment is bed rest and pain killers. Unfortunately i have a GP who will not increase my pain relief, even though my consultant

Husband on Imbruvica, went into sudden cardiac arrest
Then without warning, my husband went into sudden
cardiac
arrest
in bed last Saturday, 12/30 around 3:30 AM. Luckily I was awake and heard his distorted breathing! By the time I jumped up and called 911, he had stopped breathing. It is truly a miracle of God that he even survived!

Are my symptoms related to hypothyroidism or myasthenia gravis?
I displayed symptoms of MG, but tests proved negative. I am 76 years of age and I did read that an expert Professor of MG in Canada, says that elderly people do not always test positive for MG. Usually, their symptoms start with speech problems, as in my case. I was unable to communicate effectively

Lap recovery - how was it for you?
I’m 2 weeks post lap and hysteroscopy tomorrow, had quite a lot of endo removed via diathermy and also a uterine polyp taken out. Even though it’s nearly a fortnight since I haven’t seen much progress in recovery, im still completely exhausted and not past the point of doing much more than bed rest

A little update on Lucy
She suffered a
cardiac
arrest
the day after her surgery as the stress was too much for her little heart and the incredible team at the Royal Brompton Hospital performed CPR on her for 40 minutes, and then managed to get her on to ECMO, which is a heart and lung bypass machine.

In 6th week of pregnancy had severe abdomen pain and little brownish discharge. Now I'm on rest and medication. Will my baby be safe?!!!
I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks i.e., in the month of July 2017. Again I'm pregnant and had a scan at 5week 5 days. Yolk sac was seen but not the cardiac pole. Doctor advised me to scan after 2 weeks. I.e., I have to take this week. But meanwhile in 6th week I had severe abdomen pain in the morning

Heart attack then cardiac arrest after lobectomy
On 25/12/17 he had a
cardiac
arrest
and had to be given CPR and shock treatment but was fine when I visited in HDU that day. He now has a chest infection, has bruising over his ribs due to the CPR and is in extreme pain controlled by codeine and paracetamol.

Sleep Dread :(
It started when an acquaintance died of her sleep (
cardiac
arrest
I supposed). I have known that she has some history of illness which alleviates the cause of death.

MY BIPOLAR DISORDER
It was my GP who has diagnosed me with bipolar and said she was convinced that I had it. I had not mentioned the previous diagnosis by the psychiatrist. I asked her quite pointedly how she had come to that conclusion. Her answer somewhat surprised me, as her explanation was far more graphic and so much
